On behalf of a Leading Offshore Wind developer Airswift are currently recruiting for a WTG Commissioning Inspector on a long term contract basis, the position is working on a Major UK Offshore Wind project.
You would be responsible for the monitoring of quality and commissioning activities of WTG components at the Onshore WTG completion site and also throughout Offshore Construction. Further Tasks and Responsibilities are detailed below.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Monitor the commissioning activities

Ensure that outstanding works and quality issues are detected and reported

Monitor mechanical and electrical completion

Review work reports and confirm work is done according to the commissioning manual

Perform commissioning walk-downs together with the supplier

Report in NCR system on relevant quality issues

Review DPRs and determine validity of any additional client work/adverse events

Verify that tests are carried out and documented

Reviewing and acceptance of suppliers snag/NCR lists
Experience/Education Required

Technical education relevant to WTG Commissioning activities

All relevant safety trainings needed to perform the job, e.g. GWO
-
Minimum 3 years of work experience within offshore wind

Minimum 1 year of experience from similar position
