Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil & Gas clients to seek a Tie-in & Remote Intervention Engineer to work within their facilities located in Paris, France, for an initial 12-month contract.
About the project
Brownfield work to extend the life of the Girassol FPSO in Block 17 offshore Angola. The workscope will include the replacement of 13 flexible lines between the risers and Girassol FPSO.
Purpose of the role
He/she shall ensure that all deliverables associated to all Tie In Systems included in the SURF package Scope of Work meet project schedule and technical requirements
Will be also responsible for validating the equipment qualification status (procedure/program/report) and shall be during the construction/ installation/ pre commissioning phases the correspondent for any engineering/operational issues about Tie In Systems included in the SURF package Scope of Work.
He/she shall ensure that all tie in systems engineering, and operation deliverables are timely issued and fitted for purpose.
He/she shall also liaise with Interface leader and ensure that engineering interfaces with other concerned packages are dully dealt with and managed.
He/she shall ensure the readiness of all the technical documentation (analyses / procedures and manual).
To review all documentation from CONTRACTORS and/or on the design & operability of subsea tie in systems included in the SURF package Scope of Work.
To assist in the evaluation of risk associated to innovative/unusual tie in solutions included in the SURF package Scope of Work
To define/follow the qualification and test programs (test protocol, implementation of result) and validate the result or implement back-up plan
To anticipate in design phase the requirements for installation of complex subsea tie-ins, including decommissioning/disconnection of existing equipment which need to be replaced.
To ensure when included in the SURF package Scope of Work that the Tie in Systems components procurement is anticipated and meet the project delivery requirements
To participate in HAZID and risk assessments
To participate as required in any SIT or qualification workshop at vendor’s worksite ensuring equipment is fit for purpose.
To organize, lead or participate in all necessary meetings with Contractors (weekly progress meeting, monthly status meetings, technical meetings …).
Candidate shall demonstrate experience with the preparation, qualification and operation of non conventional subsea remote operations in deepwater. A 15 y experience in subsea operations is required.
Specialised in ROV operations and EPRS system.
