We are currently looking for a HR Business partner to ensure managers and on-site employees are aware of the policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively. Also, to support the inbound immigration needs of the business e.g. file casework with the vendor, maintaining their VISA status and helping with permanent residency status.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

HR Business Partnering

  • Building credible relationships with stakeholders to enable understanding of the operational challenges, project delivery and support needed.
  • Acting as the first point of call for HR related queries from on-site employees and external parties.
  • Management of all mobilisation and demobilisation, welcoming employees starting on-site ensuring a seamless HR onboarding. 
  • Producing high quality management information and reporting including headcount reports, interrogating and presenting data.
  • Assisting with on-site training and development administration. 
  • Managing the annual leave process for on-site employees.
  • Management of the sickness absence data and right to work checks, and other vital compliance activities, such as supporting audits.
  • Working in close partnership with HR County Lead and HR Business Partners to support all business-as-usual HR processes.
  • Leading the delivery of on-site wellbeing initiatives.  
  • Supporting in ER case work such as absence management, disciplinary, grievances and consultation processes.

Immigration
  • Support the Sweden-inbound immigration needs of the business, file casework with the vendor, maintaining their visa status and where applicable managing the permanent residency process.
  • Partner with HR Country Lead to maintain compliance with immigration law. Where applicable, support filing new visa petition in line with associated change(s).
  • Serve as the immigration specialist for the business and provide strategic solutions, working with outside counsel for more complex cases.
  • Advise key stakeholders on Swedish immigration regulation, alerts, updates, procedures on visas and work permits, etc. to support the business.
  • Partner with the Company’s authorized immigration vendor to keep abreast Swedish immigration updates and trends to benchmark and develop alternative solutions to immigration challenges.
  • Proactively communicate with employees and other relevant contacts regarding the status of their visa cases and extensions.

Qualifications, knowledge, and competence:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of human resources principles, practices and procedures.
  • Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with manager on unusual and employee performance matters.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to organize and maintain a fluid administrative process.
  • Good time-management skills and ability to be self-motivated.

Our Oil & Gas Operator client are recruiting for a HSE Audit Advisor to join their Aberdeen team.  The role will develop and manage HSE audit plans and ensure continuous improvement to the Assurance Framework.  Role will be onshore based, with frequent travel to offshore sites to carry out audits.

Key Responsibilities and background:
As well as developing and managing the HSE audit plans, you will be aware of known and emerging risks to occupational health and safety and process safety across the business.  The role will have relevant experience in planning and executing audits and will work with the HSEA team and other functions from the Aberdeen office to continually assess and determine audit priorities. There will also be frequent visits to sites to execute audits from the plan as Audit Lead or to direct others including 3rd parties on requirements.   The role will also work to develop additional audit capability within the business though training, mentoring and quality checking audits with others from the wider organisation to create a pool of individuals capable of becoming Audit Leads in their own right.
  • Lead the development and delivery of the assurance framework for the North Sea that covers company operated assets (including well operations), non-operated assets and key contracting organisations.
  • Ensure a risk-based approach is taken when determining audit activity and targets, focussed on known and emerging risk and continually reflecting and adapting this on the North Sea Audit Plan accordingly.
  • Act as primary Audit Lead for the North Sea, executing audits at sites based on agreed priorities.
  • Manage the resources required for audits, leading and mentoring others to build a wider pool of Audit Leads for the business.
  • Provide input into 3rd party audits to ensure the scope is defined clearly, aligned to company risk-based prioritisation, and executed to the standard required.
  • Provide assurance that the business has effective arrangements in place to manage the safety & environmental management system (SEMS).
  • Work with Supply Chain on contract audit plans, including review of SEQUAL audit outcomes and question sets to determine if further direct audit is required.
  • Support the analysis of assurance data to enable learning opportunities and identification of trends across the assurance framework are shared across the business, including consideration of any emerging risks which require the audit plan to evolve.
  • Input to HSE event (incident and near miss) investigations, reporting information and statistics as required.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
 
  • Strong audit background, with a clear understanding of risk and delivery of a business wide audit plan for HSEA.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships to support delivery of the plan.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, with ability to adapt style and content of presentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Previous operational experience in a similar role, preferably with operations experience, within the oil & gas industry or the Petrochemicals Industry.  
  • BOSIET and MIST (or equivalent) due to offshore travel requirements

Overall Job Responsibility: Ensure on-time delivery of equipment, material and documentation and recovering if schedules are not met. Communicate with suppliers and shippers to assist in day-to-day expediting of equipment, material and documentation of assigned projects.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide the interface between Suppliers and the Project Team to ensure that documentation requirements (signed Purchase Order (PO) Acknowledgement, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Production and/or Fabrication schedules, Bills of Materials and drawings) that are specified in the PO are delivered in accordance with the agreed schedule.
  • Develop or modifies an expediting plan for the assigned project(s), which is based on criticality ratings of the equipment in relationship to the project schedule.
  • Monitors Supplier’s delivery progress in accordance with the delivery commitment of the purchase order. 
  • Expedites in accordance with Project Procurement Procedures and to achieve project milestones and on-time delivery of equipment.

This role involves coordinating the procurement process for Wells materials, providing support to the Wells Engineering and Operations teams. It serves as the primary interface between Wells Engineers, SCM Buyers, SCM Contracts Advisors, SCM Logistics Team, Finance Team, Commercial Team, Asset/Project Teams, Perth Supply Base (PSB), Northwest Supply Base (NWSB), Dampier Supply Base, and Business Partners.


The key responsibilities for Wells inventory management include:


 
  • Ensuring "Joint Development and Exploration," visibility of the quantity and storage location of all inventories owned by Wells.
  • This includes but is not limited to, items such as OCTG, Large OD tubulars and shoe-tracks, Wellhead systems, Liner Hanger systems, Casing Hangers, Completions Equipment and specialized tooling, Packers, Valves, re-dress kits, Casing Accessories, Casing and Tubing Plugs, Cement Retainers, Cementing equipment (plugs/darts), pup joints, cross overs, etc.
  • Working in partnership with Engineering and Business Partners to bring field/yard materials into JDE where necessary, and or coordinating disposal of any excess.

QUALIFICATION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This Process Systems Engineering III position will be part of a large Process Engineering team that executes large capital projects, supports product development, provides bid support, and can provide engineering support for existing Owner assets in both North and South America. The Process team is made up of three unique sub-teams: Process, Process Systems, and Process Safety Engineering.

Schedule:
  • Choose between a 4/10 schedule or a 9/80 schedule.
  • Both are hybrid location - Monday & Friday are remote; Tuesday - Thursday is in the Bakersfield, CA office.
  • Subject to change during cutover, testing, Go-Live and/or hyper care if a presence on-site improves outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: a. Collaborate with key stakeholders in Houston to receive the overall deployment plan, including shared milestones and activities. b. Coordinate stakeholders in Houston and Bakersfield to tailor the deployment activities and tasks specifically for this business unit.

  • Reporting and Documentation: a. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, primarily the Deployment Plan and Issues & Risks for SJVBU. b. Provide timely project updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting milestones, achievements, and potential issues.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects in a hybrid waterfall/agile environment, collaborating with key stakeholders in Bakersfield CA and Houston TX. The team works agile inside waterfall constraints.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience developing business processes, as well as data analytics and reporting.
  • 12+ years’ experience as a project manager in a fast-paced environment (e.g. oilfield, manufacturing)
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerBI, specifically data analytics, queries, visualizations and reports.
  • Proficient as a SharePoint Administrator (not Developer). The Deployment Plan is managed in SharePoint, linked to a Microsoft Project file.
Preferred Experience:

We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer to be placed in Nanterre, FR and would be on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The main function is to Establish, maintain and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance, ensuring adequate reporting to project management and the client.

Responsibilities

Management of a fleet of light and light commercial vehicles (60+) and professional drivers (50+)
 
  • Ensure efficient operations; optimized usage of the available resources (vehicles and drivers) to deliver road transport services with highest possible satisfaction rate wrt. availability of drivers/cars and on time arrival/departure.
  • Ensure that the vehicles are serviced in accordance with Vehicle Maintenance program (as per warranty) and are used in accordance with Manufacturer’s manual and best practices.
  •  Analyze In-Vehicle Monitoring data aiming at identifying the behaviors leading to extra fuel consumption, increased fatigue and/or usure of mechanical parts. Propose corrective actions.
  • Organize vehicle inspections, audit/inspection of the service shops.
  • Participate to ICT audit launched by Headquarter.
 
 Management of personnel transportation
  • Ensure smooth coordination and control transportation of personnel by road (project, affiliate, and eligible contractors’ personnel)
  • between Maputo International Airport, Office, hotels, or residence.
  • between Afungi airstrip and Site camp.
  • between Pemba airstrip and Muxara Base.
  • In field (Afungi, Pemba) or in Maputo province
  • Ensure smooth coordination with Travel team in charge of personnel booking on chartered and commercial flights between Maputo, Afungi and Muxara.
  • Oversee Journey Management Plan requirement prior to allocating a vehicle/driver. Ensure that JMP is delivered to Security Control Room prior the departure and that driver acknowledges instructions.  
  • Develop use of DaWinci solution for road transport requests.
 
Management of Contractors (vehicles and drivers services contractors)
  • Coordinate and chair if necessary daily, weekly toolbox meetings to enforce road safety awareness, promote professional discipline amongst drivers.
  • Oversee drivers’ administrative needs (overtime, work schedule, leave plans, payment submission to recruitment agencies etc.)
  • Prepare contractual strategy, scope of work for the contracts, evaluate CFTs. Ensure respect of the Terms and Conditions. Perform audits, Service Quality Meetings.
  • Implement and follow-up cost performance.
  • Ensure that all drivers are available, ready, and prepared to handle the daily work assignments, missions.
  • Participate in recruitment, mobilization, and induction of new drivers.
 
Management of car-related services (Fuel, cleaning/washing, maintenance, and repairs)
  • Ensure proper management of the fuel cards allocated to Company vehicles.
  • Ensure monthly fuel reconciliation based on report from TotalEnergies Marketing & Services and monthly consumption [Maputo and Pemba] – similar activity for Afungi.
  • Ensure reconciliation of other car related services.
  • Plan services and maintenance activities to minimize potential impact on operations and requests for pool car services.
  • Ensure smooth communication with personnel to whom a car was assigned to whenever the cars need service, repairs etc.
 
HSE:  
  • Ensure strict compliance with relevant Company Rule, Affiliate Road Driving Policy – all activities are performed with the highest level of consideration to HSE risk Management,
  • Ensure that the drivers remain up to date with regards to their trainings, compliance with Highway code and Mozambique regulation.
  • Develop, keep up-to-date Road driving action plan(s)
  • Analyze incident reports, Anomalies reported by drivers and/or clients.
  • Supervise or participate to road risk assessment in Maputo, Afungi and Pemba.
  • Oversee activities from the two appointed Land Transport Correspondents aiming at enhancing road safety awareness.
  • Assist the Road Safety Coordinator, Land Transport Correspondents with Road Safety awareness campaigns. Attend Road Safety Committees.
  • Participate in HSE rewarding/sanctioning of the professional drivers for best driving safety performance.
 
Reporting, Audit, Methods
  • Implement KPIs for land transport operations and participate in the definition, implementation and monitoring of action plan(s).
  • Consolidate HSE reporting (manhours, fuel consumption and GHG emissions…)
  • Gather “lessons learned” and provide feedback to feed Road Safety network (HQ)
 
Cost and Budget
  • Review invoices with transport team. Ensure that all expenditures are duly documented.
  • Ensure proper and effective (cost) controls – approve quantities on the Service Completion Certificate or equivalent.

Skills / Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering, Logistics Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in fleet management and/or operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SADC traffic regulations, road network
  • Mechanical knowledge or background would be a plus.
