Airswift has been tasked by one of our key accounts to source a Solar Field Technician I to join their team on a 12-month contract in Boston, MA.
Overview: Solar Technicians maintain solar power systems so they work at their highest capacity at our clients' job sites.
Repairing common issues, including ground fault, inverter malfunction/failure, wire damage, blown fuses, and A/C disconnect box failure
Diagnosing panel and panel connection issues via roof access
Issuing RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) for improperly functioning materials
Tracking field progress, including taking pictures and creating brief reports
Knowledge of solar materials, including modules, inverters, and monitoring systems
Proficiency in electrical and switchgear wiring
Have tools of the trade and be able to bring them to job site
