Our client, a major Oil & Gas Company is seeking a Senior I&E Commissioning Specialist to work in Metairie, LA within their facilities for long-term assignment.

Accountabilities:


• Support and promote high level of safety culture during all commissioning planning activities.
• Perform sequencing and prioritization of all I&E commissioning schedule execution activities (Onshore and Offshore).
• Provide discipline expertise for execution planning activities including resource management, schedule coordination, equipment preservation, materials/tools/vendor support, system/equipment pre-requisite requirements.
• Develop dynamic Commissioning Procedures on Electrical and Instrumentation scopes for power-up/restart of an offshore Waterflood Treatment and Injection system including but not limited to: UPS/Emergency power, MCC’s, HVAC and Instrumentation Control / Safety / Communication systems.
• Assure that the Commissioning Procedures include the appropriate content and detail to assure safe and thorough commissioning.
• Provide discipline expertise in Commissioning risk management processes including HAZOP, JHA, and FLRA.
• Provide discipline input to develop In-Province Onshore temporaries operating procedures including but not limited to the following systems: 6.9kV and 480VAC power, Open Drains, Instrument Air.
• Support the Construction and MC teams by participating in MC walkdowns to enhance the delivery of fully complete / commissionable sub-systems as outlined by project Systemization Nomenclature.
• Maintain interface and coordinate work with other commissioning disciplines during planning.
• Support identification and purchasing of required Commissioning Spares and special tools.
• Participate in reviews and interface with Engineering, Construction, Startup, Operations, etc.
• Review and validate the systems completion database for In-Province scope, including tag to subsystem allocations and static commissioning ‘B’ check sheet assignments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in I&E Commissioning (at any level).
• Strong technical writing skills for the SCP development.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Adequacy in Navisworks (viewing and navigation only).
• Familiarity with document control systems.
• Familiarity with document mark-up tools (Bluebeam, PDF Exchange, etc.).
• Offshore experience is a strong plus but not required.
• Brownfield experience is a strong plus but not required.
• Ability to efficiently work remotely with an expected 1 week/month in the office.
• New Orleans area-based individuals with the ability to work in the office is a plus.
• Ability to work a rotation in the fabrication yard (location TBD).
• Potentially ability to work a rotation offshore on the platform.

Assignment Scope: 

Seeking an individual to serve as a Project HSE Management System (HSE MS) Coordinator.  The individual will be responsible for supporting the Alaska business Unit with effective implementation and coordination of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System. Scope of the sub-contracting services

The SUBCONTRACTOR will perform the following tasks:
- Within his/her area of action, ensures that engineering and requisitioning/subcontracting activities are developed according to schedule, man/hours, equipment and materials budget as well as contractual specifications Ensures production of IFC engineering documents in due time & fit for purpose.
- Ensures timely reporting to Project Management and operational supervisor: follow up of activity, critical deviation of activities and/or potential risks.

REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS

The services to be performed by The SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and experience:
  • Engineer master’s degree with more than 5 Years experience

Documents issued by the SUBCONTRACTOR shall have the required quality according to above defined tasks, in particular:
- Technical quality
- Content quality (in relation with information contained in documentation)
- All documents will be written in the contract language

operational representative may at any time check the work being done by the SUBCONTRACTOR and reserves the right of intervention while performance is under way in order to enforce compliance with the CONTRACT. SUBCONTRACTOR’s contractual responsibilities will not be released.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of relevant design and manufacturing codes for pressure vessels, piping and structural fabrication, including NDE standards such as ASME, EN, ISO, AWS, ASTM, etc.
  • Knowledge of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU; knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of material fabrication and weldability of unalloyed and low alloy steels, high and very high strength structural steels, austenitic, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, Ni base and Cu base alloys, etc.

  • Participation in technical meetings and visits, i.e. kick-off meeting, pre-inspection meeting, acceleration visits, when required by the project;
  • Technical support for NCR resolution;
  • Support Quality Control Managers and Field Engineers/Construction Managers;
  • Provide on-site assistance to resolve NDT related technical issues from construction sites/suppliers;

Job Description

The Environmental Compliance Project Manager will be working within our client’s Environmental Services Department, providing environmental construction compliance assurance for new energy generation projects them and its affiliates. We’re looking for someone with the ability to provide multifaceted and comprehensive environmental compliance support of construction projects, perform field assessments and site inspections, and prepare detailed environmental reports. They’ll be supporting multiple projects with multifaceted environmental and regulatory issues and assisting in comprehensive environmental due diligence reviews for projects.
Experience communicating with local, state, and federal agency representatives, internal and external subject matter experts, stakeholders, and environmental organizations in support of assigned projects, is a must have. The Environmental Compliance PM must maintain current knowledge of pertinent national, state, and local environmental policies and regulations, and company policies, to help ensure strict environmental compliance and other tasks will include project coordination, planning, budget and schedule support, and determining and mitigating environmental risks.

Key Skills

Job Duties

  • Identifies and mitigates environmental risks and provides innovative solutions to environmental challenges
  • When in-field adjustments are made during project construction, identify additional environmental certifications, permits, or authorizations needed, and coordinate with the environmental permitting lead and project’s onsite management to facilitate obtaining those items
  • Coordinate, oversee, and inspect environmental compliance related project items throughout construction to ensure that the work is being carried out per plans, specifications, and permit requirements.
  • Notify the project’s onsite construction manager of any deficiencies and give recommendations for corrective action to bring the site into compliance.
  • Communicate deficiencies, updates, and project information up to direct supervisor
  • Be available for additional environmental support as needed (including storm duty)

2. PROFILE

One of our major clients is seeking a Fluid Technician to work on a 12-month assignment in Lloydminster, Alberta.

The District Fluid Technician is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the load plans for fluid movement within the Transportation System servicing CTCHO (Canadian Thermal Conventional Heavy Oil. Movement of fluids takes place from the well tank location to either a disposal facility or battery (i.e. end destinations) and may include emulsion, clean oil, sour, produced water, and/or produced sand.

Work Schedule: 7 on, 7 off rotation
12 hour shift, 7 am to 7 pm

Specific Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate engagement with stakeholders and troubleshoot issues to optimize fluid movement operations. Stakeholders include facilities operations, production operations, and the carrier dispatchers.
• Monitor called/planned loads to ensure they are dispatched and hauled according to plan.
• Provide transportation daily, weekly and monthly reports on fluid movement performance and targets.
• Use decision support tools to derive daily load allocation plans and create daily "what-if scenarios" and daily resource requirements.
• Liaise with Coordinator, Transportation & Logistics to provide input to the analysis of the Transportation System components and processes (e.g. for continuous improvement and optimization).
• Execute planned or emergency responses to changes/ accidents/ incidents as they occur within the Transportation System operating environment.

Must have Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class 5 driver’s license
• A minimum of 2 years fluid hauling related experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership, decision making and facilitation skills
• Highly motivated, outstanding positive attitude and desire to grow job responsibility
• Knowledge of legal land descriptions
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice to have qualifications:
• Previous safety experience is an asset
• Prior work with Operations and Fluid Haulers
• Auditing experience and/or certification
• Incident Investigation experience and/or certification

Our client, a major Oil & Gas company is seeking a Project Accounting Analyst to work within their facilities located in Calgary, AB for a 5-month contract.

Specific Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate in their assigned areas, the development of forecasts, budgets and long-range plan projections of Centralized Services Costs and their allocations to business units.
  • Collaborate with Centralized Services groups in driving a disciplined analysis of financial results and prepare reports with actuals to budget variances for presentation to senior management.
  • Support other ad-hoc enquiries as needed; develop and maintain expertise at understanding the complex principal business drivers within the Centralized Services and other operating business segments. This will require the development of strong, cooperative working relationships with business units.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of competency in various analytical tools including Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Index, Match, VLOOKUP, Logical functions, etc.), Hyperion Planning, PowerBI and Essbase systems and recommend enhancements to the systems.
  • Comprehensively analyze and interpret projected results and ensure trends are substantiated and grounded in principle in order to provide senior management with an understanding of issues to allow them to take appropriate action where required.
  • Identify and support process improvement opportunities within the FP&A group and propose solutions.

Requirements:
  • Professional Accounting Designation.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by excellent attention to detail.
  • Works well within a multi-disciplinary team environment, with an ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel; prior experience with major ERP systems an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a results oriented business approach.

Engineering Design Systems (EDS) Coordinator with strong expertise in various 2D/3D Engineering and Design Software like AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA E3D, and Smart3D (S3D). Supporting all projects within our client’s East offices. The EDS Coordinator will be responsible for loading and configuring the engineering and design software, keeping the system running, and trouble-shooting problems. Duties will include software setup, database setup, integration with other tools. Configuring access control, and project level settings. This position will work with other team members, Engineering and Design Departments to provide operational and development support.
Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Designs System setup, administration and problem resolution, and the use of application technologies to deliver improvements and efficiencies to engineering design activities.
  • Managing and creating reporting options through the project lifecycle.
  • Administration and configuration of 2D/3D systems for the project.
  • Providing 2D/3D CAD user-support for the different modules on projects including model design, drawing extraction, reporting etc.
  • Setup installation, and configuration of project database servers.
  • Identifying potential areas where procedures / work instructions require a change or where new ones need to be developed.
  • Manage and support Laser Scans in the 3D Model systems
  • Assist IT in maintaining the 2D/3D model backup systems.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve end user performance.
  • User education and training for new hires and end users to become proficient with 2D/3D CAD systems.
  • Scheduling and prioritizing work to accommodate user needs with minimum impact.
  • Ensuring application developments or changes are fully tested.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant mechanical and piping design experience.
  • Familiar with Piping, Civil & Structural standards.
  • Project experience in 2D/3D CAD Administration, Cats & Specs, customization, drawings reports, and Database Integrity checking.
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle database systems.
  • Experience on Power, Refining and Chemical project execution preferred.
  • Knowledge and possible experience in integrating engineering, design and project systems.
  • Strong aptitude for project planning and implementation of new design software.
  • Experience in multi-office work sharing.
  • Experience in AVEVA E3D / PDMS / S3D administration and development.
  • Liaise with 2D/3D CAD vendor support representatives and elevate ServiceNow requests as required to ensure a coordinated effort with the vendor.
  • Liaise with various regional IT for hardware and network requirements.
  • Strong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables, and workflows.
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engineering and/or construction industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience using and supporting AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks and RECAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Datacentric Delivery.
