We are currently looking for a SAP Engineer to work for one of our largest clients, a global oil & gas operator.
In charge of managing all material as well as service items in SAP and inventory of physical drilling stocks. Total manpower supervised: 1 SAP Engineer and 2 Material Analysts.
The job holder sets up and manages all transactions in SAP and other C&P tools, establishes and sustains a robust Stock management system and contributes effectively to the capacity building of local workforce. The job holder shall:
? Act as SAP Material Master Custodian for all materials (Stock items and Non-stock items) and Key User for material management in SAP and BW
? Manage master data creation of stock materials, planning for replenishment, to ensure availability for operational requirement, to avoid shortage of material, to optimize stock level and to reduce surplus
? Provide training to the team, Technical Administrators (TADM) and other internal business partners
? Coordinate with Technical Administrators (TADM) for correct data input in Material Master Forms (MMF) ensuring to comply with group recommendation (short / long descriptions, classification, etc.) and to have HSE and QA/QC requirement are embedded (including MSDS, required certificates and associated validity dates, if any) ? Initiate and coordinate with TADMs for dead stock reduction regularly
? Coordinate with TADMs for replenishment of material proposed by MRP for material optimization, cost avoidance and stock saving
? Lead Partners' and Authorities Inventory Audit if any
? Manage and recommend efficient methods and intervals for internal Inventory Cycle Counting at the warehouses
? Follow up and clarify the DDR (Damage Discrepancy Report) in co-ordination with Procurement, TADMs, end-users, warehouse personnel
? Manage stock distribution among the warehouses and handle inter-company transfer process
? Control the various returned materials from drilling operations, liaise with Finance and TADMs for reintegration.
Context and environment
A Green Field Project, the Tilenga development is to be carried out in a remote location in UGANDA near Albert lake with particularly sensitive environmental conditions. A challenging onshore project; heavy and waxy oils produced from 31 drilling pads, (with some of them located in a national park) and treated in a Production Center of 200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bld of water treatment capacity. Reservoir pressure maintenance is ensured either by water injection or by polymer water injection depending on the reservoirs characteristics. The project also includes an extended interconnecting network with temperature preservation. Multicultural environment: Contractors are anticipated to be located in various parts of the world. Ugandan rules and regulations, administrative requirements and technical authorizations as well as International codes for onshore plant will apply.
? Key position for proper management of SAP and drilling related materials.
? Ensure the correct and maximum use of SAP, BW and other C&P tools.
? Analyze and report the Stock status. Qualifications/Experience required The Service Provider must have the following qualifications and experience:
? Degree in relevant technical or Business field
? Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar role with previous experience in an operational position.
? Good operational knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry
? Good practical skills of SAP and knowledge of purchasing, transit and stock management fields
? Good numeracy and analytical skills
? Excellent interpersonal skills (including team management), written and oral communication skills
? Fluent in English
