Business Development / Sales & Marketing Manager
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Contract: Permanent
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Salary / Package: Monthly salary in VND
Reporting Line: Business Development Director in Hanoi Office
Area of Responsibility:
Business Development:
- Participate in the discussions and various meetings about strategy of expansion for its group businesses and take necessary actions.
- Gathering of regional intelligence and transferring the same to managements either by personally presenting such intelligence or wherever is required.
- Advise improving Business to attain more efficiency and expansion of business customers.
Marketing & Sales:
- Establish and maintain relationships with the Executives of the potential business customers.
- Representing the company to establish connections with prospective customers.
- Use the knowledge and influence of the business to explore new prospective customers.
- Create meetings with prospective customers to evaluate their circumstances and needs.
- Introduction of the company to the appropriate persons whenever necessary.
- Guidance on regional markets.
Sales:
- Facilitate the preparation & implementation of annual sales forecast.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Lead and manage the team of Sales and Service personnel in the assigned region. Set and communicate to ensure the team is capable of achieving business goals.
Customer Relationship:
- Support service execution activities to ensure our company performs its contractual obligations in accordance with terms agreed with customers. Manage customer relationships through the execution phase.
Others
- Support and collaborate with other business units as needed.
Education level and/or relevant experience(s):
- Bachelor for Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ideal)
- 8 to 12 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing functions with demonstrated success, in related industries i.e. power and industrial plants
- 5 years-experience new projects /sales Management/Leadership role
- Solid understanding of the power generation industry
- Working experience in service and construction site as service personnel
Knowledge and skills (general and technical):
- Knowledge about Power Business and products including competitors.
- 8 - 12 years experience in Power Business
- Proven sales technique and negotiating skills
- Good command speaking and writing in English
- Good knowledge of Quality Management (QEHS – Safety, Health, Environment and Quality)
- Knowledge general import & export trade with INCOTERMS
- Knowledge of power business product service and construction
- Ability to network effectively at all levels and positive influencing skills
- Demonstrated strength in problem solving and capable of driving insights to action
- Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills and to contribute to executive-level discourse; excellent written communication abilities
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
- Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel
Other requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Outgoing and positive personality
- Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
- Domestic travels, overnight travel
- Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Updated on market trends
