Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to find a Recruitment Specialist to join their team on a 9-month contract in Calgary, AB.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple positions in diverse business units, from application stage to offer including developing job ads; coordinating approvals; determining and implementing recruitment strategies; and driving interview and offer process including salary recommendations.
- Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to understand their strategic talent acquisition needs.
- Utilize and develop creative recruiting sources including social media, universities, technical schools, and professional associations.
- Apply diversity and inclusion best practices to the talent acquisition process to create an inclusive process ensuring both internal and external equality.
- Attract qualified internal and external candidates through posting on appropriate websites, job boards, and internal Applicant Tracking System according to policies and processes.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to talent management needs.
- Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to proactively streamline efficiencies.
- Attend career fairs and conferences to promote the company and diversify the pool of potential candidates for future positions
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Degree or Diploma within Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
- 4+ years of full-cycle and high-volume recruiting experience
- Previous experience within a recruitment agency environment is an asset.
