Title: Lead Planner Commissioning

--Experience Required—
Job Purpose
•    Oversight, monitoring and verification of contractor’s schedule, schedule performance, progress measurement and reporting.
•    Develop KPIs by extracting information from contractor’s reports, deliverables to aid decision making.

Key Job Accountabilities
•    Provide and maintain pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule. 
•    Make sure that every update in commissioning sequence is properly captured and reflected in comissioning schedule. 
•    Ensure proper integration of pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule to EPC1 Level 3 Schedule. 
•    Highlight and communicate any change in pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule that is impacting the overall EPC1 Level 3 Schedule to line managers, other Major Project EPC1 Lead Planners and other concerned parties.
•    Monitor closely the progress of construction and readiness for pre-commissioning. Highlight any delay in construction that may impact pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. 
•    Responsible for overseeing contractor’s pre-commssioning and commissioning schedule, KPI’s, interfaces and weekly and monthly reporting and advises any potential schedule issues and provides guidance on corrective actions and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.
•    Regular progress monitoring by liaising with site commissioning management team and contractors’ teams in all commissioning areas. Development of KPIs by using construction data for efficient tracking of all site construction activities. Analyze schedule and progress trends reported by EPC Contractor.
•    Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests related to schedule, progress, KPIs and reports. Facilitate periodic meetings with contractors to review schedule and progress and report to EPC-1 Head of Planning and Data Analysis Reporting Specialist.
•    Review contractor’s construction progress, productivity, manpower, quantities on a weekly basis and produce KPIs for PMT review. Adhere to Client project procedures and periodically review and improve. Liaise regularly with the engineering and procurement team to monitor alignment with the critical deliverables and the expediting reports and commissioning schedule.
•    Review EPC Contractor’s progress reports; verify and endorse claimed progress. Review and endorse schedule and progress baselines and forecasts prepared by EPC Contractor. Review EPC Contractor’s project control procedures (home office and field control procedures) to ensure that Company’s requirements are being met.

Qualifications
•    Bachelors degree in engineering or construction, alternatively relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
Knowledge and Key Skills
•    Minimum of 10 years of major EPC project experience within the Oil and Gas Industry.
•    Good knowledge of LNG commissioning.
•    Experience in Primavera P6 scheduling tools, Power BI, advanced excel.
•    Knowledge of working with large construction data to produce KPI’s.
•    Expert knowledge of developing schedules; understanding of baseline, actual and forecast plans and progress data.
•    Knowledge of WBS and rules of credit for progress measurement in all phases of project.
•    Team player, flexible and experienced of working in a diverse team environment.
•    Highly numerate and effective in challenging contractor’s data.

Airswift is seeking a Deputy Installation Manager to work on a Contractor position in Rio de Janeiro with an Oil and Gas Company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
Together with the Installation Manager, the services will be the focal point for all installation and pre-commissioning operation issues within the project team.
During the EPC phase, the services shall ensure that all operational deliverables and associated drawings are prepared in accordance with the installation engineering results and with due account of installation constraints and constructability aspects in order to comply with the installation schedule, and shall ensure that all deliverables related to Installation operations are issued by Contractor(s) in due time and fit for purpose.
The services shall ensure that all interfaces related to installation operations are dully dealt with and managed with other concerned packages (i.e. Drilling, FPSO).
During the installation phase, the services shall support the installation manager to
- Ensure a proper readiness of EPCI CTR marine spread
- Coordinate the marine spread approval
- Ensure that EPCI CTR has performed all necessary risk assessments, and that all findings are timely addressed before the operations
- Organize and supervise the work of all Company Representatives located onboard EPCI Contractor Marine spread on SITE
- Interface with other parties (Field Ops, Marine, others) for the coordination of the simultaneous operations
- Ensure that all the interfaces with COMPANY are properly defined and managed before and during the operations
- Anticipate and avoid clashes between EPCI marine spreads and vessels from other entities (drilling vessels, tankers, FPSO support, etc) involved on offshore activities.
- Review and validate when relevant the Management of Change Requests.
- Follow testing activities (FAT, EFAT, SIT, etc) performed by Contractor(s) as a preparation of the offshore operations
The services shall, in the performance of these responsibilities, contribute to maximise the NPV value of the project by finding means to increase quality and productivity and/or decrease investments.
The services is also responsible for the coordination of the “Marine Warranty Services” contract during the operation phase
.
The services reports to the Installation Manager and is responsible to support him/her for the reporting to the Project Manager.
The services supports the installation manager for the coordination and management of a team of several Site Company Representatives, and shall inform and motivate them adequately so that priorities are clear and directions for the performance of their duties are set to meet the objectives of the Project.
The services is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to H3SE rules & requirements and for ensuring that H3SE requirements are duly implemented within his area of responsibility.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS 
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent
? Strong Professional Experience
? Experience in similar services:  experience with supervision of deepwater offshore operations in relation with SURF activities.
? Participation to a recent deep-water project, including offshore operations. Project experience in Brazil is a strong plus.
? Good communication skills, organizational skills and positive attitude.
? Training : CBSP, HUET, ASO (brazillian medical)
? Languages:
• Fluent English required

This includes cost tracking and forecasting activities, performance management and reporting, and the integration of cost inputs from internal and third-party sources into the overall cost engineering process. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Preparation, maintenance, and ownership of project cost control. Including and not limited to tracking of budgets, commitments, Value of Work Done (VOWD), spend phasing and future forecasting, aligned to agreed project WBS. Proactively informs the project team of problems and proposes resolutions. 

• Ensure cost management tool is maintained with all relevant cost data to provide standard outputs to Project Management and other stakeholders. 

• Fully maintain Change Control visibility, ensuring both approved and pending changes, as well as Threats / Opportunities are included and detailed in the cost tool. 

• Confirm all budget changes and trends are documented and approved for an ongoing accurate cost estimate and history of the project cost performance.

• Bachelor’s degree, Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field or equivalent work experience. 

• 6 years of cost control experience preferably in relation to petrochemical or refining industry projects. 

• Excellent computer skills, particularly with SAP, Primavera, Project Control Tools and MS Office Suite (excel, power point, word, etc.) 

Highly efficient in excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, complex formulas, creating cost curves and other graphs). 

• Major capital projects experience, with strong track record of delivery and cost engineering processes. 

• Experience working with large contractor organizations. 

• Strong teamwork skills to collaborate and build strong relationships with co-workers and external partners to support development and implementation of business solutions. 

• Ability and demonstrated proficiencies to engage and work within a multifunctional discipline team to establish high levels of cooperation and credibility for the cost function when working with the project team.  

• Some experience of planning, demonstrating a sound understanding of the relationship between cost control and planning / scheduling as a key component of the performance management framework and project control. 

• Ability to produce good quality written reports and summary presentations – able to communicate clarity from complexity. 

• Considerable knowledge of petrochemical / refining industry contracting practices, project control reporting processes, project management practices, and financial system processes related to project management. 

• Self-motivated problem solver with excellent analytical skills and attention to details. Ability to tactfully communicate a difficult message. 

• Knowledge of risk management and analysis. 

• Great social skills.

Job Title: E&I Workpack Engineer
Contract: 3 months

Key Objectives:

  • To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
  • To ensure all work is carried out in a safe and productive manner in line with Company and Client processes and procedures
  • To process safe completion of designated sub systems and systems in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely manner
  • To assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilisation of efficient and working practices

 

Primary Duties:

  • To be conversant with HS&E plan and to implement the HS&E procedures ensuring the health and safety of personnel
  • Assess effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personnel and team performances
  • Ensure that constructibility is inherent within the design by being involved at the early stage of work scope and workpack compilation / development in accordance with company and project policies and procedures
  • Preparation of workpacks including TRA’s, JMS, materials, Peer reviews, HAZID’s, Envid’s, COSHH, testing requirement, specialist tools and equipment, also identify specialists / vendors to perform identified tasks
  • Develop certification matrix with design team prior to workpack issue
  • Develop workscope estimates and register changes with supporting documentation
  • Compile, review and develop workpacks in accordance with the implementation process, associated standards, specifications and procedures
  • Ensure contents of workpacks meet with scope requirements
  • Raise and obtain approval for growth job cards
  • Ensure logic of work is updated on the plan and supporting systems
  • Conduct offshore surveys with design team
  • Address installation queries and revert with solutions
  • Monitor design delivery dates
  • Monitor and report on workpack progress
  • Monitor ongoing activities with regards to completion dates
  • Check completed workpacks prior to handover, raise punch lists if appropriate. Manage / action accordingly
  • Monitor punch-list closeouts after handover
  • Review completion certification and ‘as-build’ drawings
  • Identify resource requirements / materials / tools / spares / consumables / etc
  • Actively participate in all Company and Project Safety Initiatives.
  • Attend meetings, (e.g. Kick-off and daily / weekly)
