Our client, an Oil & Gas company, is seeking a Project Coordinator (Junior) to work in Chatham or North York, ON
Job responsibilities
- Actively represent Network Planning in stakeholder consultations and deliver presentations to various groups
- Primary individual for receiving requests to perform work on vital mains piping system
- Issue and/or rescind permission to work on the piping system in relation to concurrent work
- Schedule and prioritize planned work in an effort to minimize potential conflicts with system operation
- Review contingency plans based on known work or activities on and around the piping system
- Review steady state modelling, under supervision, to assess threats to the system for the purposes of scheduling work on the piping network
- Assess the impacts of unplanned work on scheduled work, including revising and updating active contingency plans
- Daily monitoring of activities on and around the piping network to minimize risk
- Review and assist in the preparation of Work Permits prior to submission for approval
- Consultation, and delivery of Work Permit documents to offer transparency regarding major work activities, and to ensure that approval signatures have been attained and valid permits have been delivered to the Project Manager
- Work with stakeholders to determine and document the optimal way to configure the system for network operations
Qualifications:
- Related university degree and 2 years experience OR four plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with WAMS, e-GIS, Maximo, Planning and Records experience is an asset
