Airswift has been tasked by one of our key clients to seek a Procurement Services to join them in Paris, France on a 1-year contract.
As part of its strategy, our client has decided to strengthen Purchasing governance by creating the company’s Global Procurement (TGP). As such, all the branches of the Company have pooled their Purchasing skills with the aim of achieving a major objective of reducing costs and optimizing quality. The service falls within the IDR/SMG purchase category (Indirect purchases / General Mean Services)1. Purchasing management:
Support upstream the needs of sites and subsidiaries in their projects associated with General Means Services.
1. Purchasing management:
- Challenge prescribers in terms of needs and specifications in order to globalize, simplify, standardize, concentrate needs and expand or even renew the supplier panel
- establish summary and analysis grids (technical, functional, economic)
- Conducting all stages of the purchasing process in compliance with internal rules and procedures, in particular the charter of ethics and the code of conduct;
- Manage the drafting of pre-consultation files and calls for tenders for central needs;
- Participate in the drafting of pre-consultation and tender documents for local needs in support of local structures, in particular by disseminating good practices (standard documents) and price references (benchmarks);
- Directly conduct commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers in compliance with procedures and operating rules, assist local structures in this process;
- Assist operational staff in any commercial disputes with suppliers in conjunction with the Legal, Insurance and Finance Departments;
- Manage the commercial complaints of the subsidiaries vis-à-vis the suppliers

2. Purchasing performance monitoring and improvement:
- Monitor the activity and performance indicators of suppliers in conjunction with prescribers;
- Ensure the proper application of framework contracts;
- Prepare supplier performance reviews and participate in their evaluation
- Inform and monitor suppliers and prescribers on the policy of subcontracting, safety, quality and environment, social responsibility;
- Propose improvement, optimization and/or transformation plans in collaboration with prescribers with the aim of improving overall performance;
Requirements:
- Advanced expertise in the field of purchasing;
- the language of the service: English and French;
- service in an environment requiring rigor, autonomy, flexibility, versatility, and respect for confidentiality;
- Cross-functional and multicultural management context;
- the service provider will have legal and contractual knowledge;
