Position: Wells Material Coordinator

This role involves coordinating the procurement process for Wells materials, providing support to the Wells Engineering and Operations teams. It serves as the primary interface between Wells Engineers, SCM Buyers, SCM Contracts Advisors, SCM Logistics Team, Finance Team, Commercial Team, Asset/Project Teams, Perth Supply Base (PSB), Northwest Supply Base (NWSB), Dampier Supply Base, and Business Partners.


The key responsibilities for Wells inventory management include:


 
  • Ensuring "Joint Development and Exploration," visibility of the quantity and storage location of all inventories owned by Wells.
  • This includes but is not limited to, items such as OCTG, Large OD tubulars and shoe-tracks, Wellhead systems, Liner Hanger systems, Casing Hangers, Completions Equipment and specialized tooling, Packers, Valves, re-dress kits, Casing Accessories, Casing and Tubing Plugs, Cement Retainers, Cementing equipment (plugs/darts), pup joints, cross overs, etc.
  • Working in partnership with Engineering and Business Partners to bring field/yard materials into JDE where necessary, and or coordinating disposal of any excess.
  • Collaborating with Wells Engineers and SCM teams to review all Wells equipment line items and ensure the accuracy of JDE inventory lists in terms of Branch Plant, Location, Ownership Description, JDE number, Descriptions, UOM, and Qty on hand.
 
  • They are also responsible for coordinating updates or corrections when errors are identified.
  • Working in partnership with Contracts and Engineering to understand scope of upcoming projects and assisting in identifying long lead materials and ensuring CVX Systems are set up and ready to procure and manage demand.
  • Acting as the primary contact and guide for Wells personnel regarding materials cataloguing, equipment location, condition, ownership, inspection status, offsite repair, and investment recovery processes.
  • The Wells Material Management Coordinator role will assist the Wells Engineer, QA/QC Coordinator and Business Partners with information on inventory status, last impaction date, and current location to support development and execution of various Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans (QPs), and Preventative Maintenance Inspection Test Plans (PMITPs)
  • Serving as the main point of contact for external material inquiries in support of ABU sharing agreements with external parties.
  • Working in close collaboration with Finance, Commercial, and SCM teams to facilitate asset transfers in JDE when necessary.
  • Assisting SCM Logistics and Wells teams in generating MEL’s for Wells Projects (Master Equipment Lists).

QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelors in Civil/Structural Engineering –Master in a key area of expertise preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the application of HSE and Safety Engineering policies, process, standards and guidelines incl. international rulesets.
  • Ensure that contractors comply at all times with safety rules, taking actions as required in case of disregards.
  • Promote safety culture within organization’s personnel and contractors as well as reporting of anomalies.
  • Develop design of new structural installations or define structural modifications.

  • Carry out simplified and detailed stress analysis calculations and checks [using both manual and recognized structural engineering software]
  • Draw up and cross-check relevant procedures, international standards and General Specifications.
  • Follow-up Purchase Orders of structure material to ensure timely approval, conformity of design.
  • Interact with Third Parties such as Certifying bodies, Marine Warranty Surveyor, Process, Piping and Instrumentation disciplines mainly and interface with Procurement Dept. Perform site visits when required for the planning and execution of a Construction activity.
  • Promote and support innovation and cost reduction initiatives in the structural discipline.
  • Report to Structural Lead on a daily basis as well as when decisions impacting E&C activities require to be discussed.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Recognized expertise in the field of Structural Engineering of oil & gas facilities.
  • Min 15 years’ experience in offshore Structural Engineering covering Design Offices and Fabrication facilities with mandatory offshore installation activity experience, Oil Company experience preferred

This Process Systems Engineering III position will be part of a large Process Engineering team that executes large capital projects, supports product development, provides bid support, and can provide engineering support for existing Owner assets in both North and South America. The Process team is made up of three unique sub-teams: Process, Process Systems, and Process Safety Engineering.

It should be possible to get some exposure and experience in several of these technologies as well as understanding how the three Process sub-teams function effectively together. Specific project assignments will depend on the workload and resourcing needs.

While this position will be focused primarily on Process Systems Engineering, the successful candidate may be asked to provide some support to the Process and Process Safety functions based on workload and resourcing needs. Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to find a R&D Lab Technician to work a 1-year contract with possible extension in Aurora, NC. 

This Laboratory Technician position is responsible for sample retrieving in the field, preparation of sampling, and reporting. In addition, with this being a start-up plant, the lab tech will be responsible for assisting in creation of the processes, SOPs and development of the lab.

This is a 12-hour shift rotating shift. Airswift will be happy to discuss further the rotation schedule for this opportunity. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions.
  • Conduct tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present conclusions.
  • Must document every test results carefully. During the research and testing phases, need to accurately record all variables, such as chemical type, amount, compound components, chemical temperature and test duration.
  • Must also adhere to safety standards during laboratory testing, such as wearing protective clothing and taking additional precautions as needed.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operations, monitoring and maintenance preparation of wells, processing units and related facilities. This position requires a strong focus on oil, gas and water separation facilities operations along with major utilities and secondary expertise in all operations. This is a large project, which includes not only on-site facility start-up but also utilization of operating tools, procedures, work-permitting and training. Candidates with experience in new facilities startup and operations are very desirable.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for personal safety and the safety of co-workers. Follows and enforces all safety rules.
• Primary operations contact for their facilities. Understands process flow, basic chemistry associated with unit, major line-ups, and all unit safety equipment, including isolation points. Reviews computer data and computer generated schematics to ensure process is optimized.
• Physically inspects and monitors equipment and/or the work area using vision, hearing, smell, and touch, to ensure correct operation. • Issues Safe Work Permits, which involves high degree of proficiency on current operating conditions as well as chemical, personnel and process safety risks associated with operating unit. • Performs gas testing as necessary to ensure Operating area is safe to allow for specific maintenance activities to be performed.
• Process monitoring activities include Gauge Tanks, read meters, accurately record data, taking product samples, differential pressure, chemical injection rates, checking for leaks, freezing, overheating, etc.
• Performs "visual maintenance" by checking critical performance parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, flow rate, and/or vibration to ensure all equipment is operating within its defined operating envelope.
• Adjusts local process parameters (temperature, pressure, etc.) to maintain product specifications within their optimal operating window.
• Keep Company Vehicle Maintained and in good working condition
• Coordinate Oil Sales and salt water hauling as necessary
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changes
• Checks control valve positions to ensure valves are correctly positioned. • Performs basic equipment maintenance (adding lube oil, water, tightening valve packing, changing filters and steam traps, clearing equipment, etc.).
• Communicates with Production Foreman to remain informed of existing process conditions and relate any changes made or needed.
• Performs winterization and summarization of equipment for maximum equipment efficiencies.
• Monitors field equipment using electronic test equipment including hand held monitors and computer monitoring equipment.
• Inspects safety valves, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, breathing apparatus, and other safety equipment.
• Participates in continuous improvement of all aspects of the business that they are assigned to execute.
• Understands and performs work according to environmental policies and procedures. Executes work in a manner that eliminates or minimizes environmental impacts (flaring emissions, oil spills, etc.). Attaches a high priority to resolving environmental problems.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Designer to join our Aberdeen office, to join a north sea brownfield project. This is a 3 month contract position open on a PAYE or Ltd company basis.





Key Responsibilities and background:
 

  • Execute structural design and draughting activities in the PDMS environment.
  • Prepare structural drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with guidance from engineering personnel.
  • Prepare structural drawings from agreed work scopes.
  • PDMS CAD modeliing and draughting techniques.
  • Able to use draughting standards and specifications.
  • Carry out work by relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
  • Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of working practices and systems to continuously improve systems, personal and team performance.
  • Preparation & checking of structural design deliverables.
  • Preparation of Construction Workpacks.
  • Checking of Construction Workpacks.
  • Knowledge of welded & bolted connections.
  • Proficient with Autocad 2D & 3D.
  • Proficient using Navisworks.
  • Ability to present model reviews and presentations.
  • Knowledge and use of LFM Software.
  • Ability to prepare Structural Estimates.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Pipe Supports.
  • Ability to read and understand client specifications.
  • Ability to read and understand Scopes of Work.
  • Understands the principles of safety in Structural Design.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Scopus procedures.
  • Actively maintaining own competence and continuous development.
  • Ensuring learning opportunities are captured and realised.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation.
  • Ability to prepare COG calculations.



Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
  • HNC or relative experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of brownfield oil and gas projects.
  • Working knowledge of PDMS

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be placed in Kunglav, Sweden. The main function of this role is to?ensure project completion in accordance with contractual obligations as well as defined project goals and devise methods to accomplish them. Responsibilities: 

  • Defines and select team required to deliver scope of work and effectively lead project team comprised of multidiscipline/multilocation members setting clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule, productivity, and budget targets. 

  • Oversees, motivates, and monitors the performance of the team 

  • Applies knowledge of all aspects of a project (engineering, procurement, quality control, etc.) to oversee the successful execution of the project plan. 

  • Ensures design team is aware and complying with customer Basis of Design and applicable codes and regulations. 

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of customer contract to the oversight and management of the project and tracks cost and schedule and uses analytical skill to forecast trends. 

  • Understands project cost buildup including gross margin. 

  • Understands contract invoice terms and company cash flow requirements, including accounts receivable, work in progress, and days sales outstanding (DSO) metrics. 

  • Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress. 

  • Effectively communicate and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposals and reports to staff and management. 

  • Implements clear communication protocols, processes and tools for requirements, contractual requirements, customer expectations, KPI and project status with project team 

  • Effectively relates with people across levels, functions, geography and cultures. 

  • Works collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. 

  • Customer & Stakeholder Management 

  • Identifies potential risks or new risks as the project progresses and effectively develops risk mitigation, contingency and resolution plans.

  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering project delivery workflow and coordination. 

  • Basic exposure and understanding of procurement/subcontracting and on-site construction support. 

  • Strong understanding and application of business drivers, financial reporting standards. 

  • Experienced in preparing Project Execution Plan covering all aspects of the scope. 

  • Good understanding of Project Control Reports identifies problem areas and implements recovery plans.
