PLC Engineer 3GI

Scope of work: Adhere to all TCO health and safety policies;  Be team player, willing to go beyond strict job title to solve problems;  Look for problems to solve and not wait for problems to come to you;  Review display graphics (HMI) as required;  Review PAS specifications, architecture & network drawings, equipment lists, cabinet & panel layouts, I/O loading, and configuration templates;  Support System Completions team related to Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley and Symens PLCs control systems pre -commissioning and commissioning activities like:  Factory Acceptance test,  Site Acceptance Test,  Loop check,  Functional test;  Ensure that project design documents are comply to Chevron & TCO standards and best practices ;  Participate in review/endorse in management of change (MOC) process;  Provide guidance if need to correct configuration and application logic changes at site;  Review required PLC Control Systems related project documents;  Support SC and MAC to ensure backup and recovery systems are functioning properly prior to handover;  Assist & Interface with FGP System Completion for Reliable operation of the PLCs on HVAC or other systems till First Oil and final handover;  Support FGP Operations team on pre-start up and start up activities.  Review and provide input for Phase 5 Automation procedures development;  Review and provide input for 2-year Operating Spares part;  Support Automation document handover (CMS) – identify required documents/formats.  Support development of OPS Automation Project Operations Plan (POP) deliverables;  Review project documentation related to automation system specification and designs and develop in-depth knowledge of project requirements ;  Actively participate in reviews of automation brownfield tie-ins & system integration to TCO Base Business PAS equipment;  Support/develop PAS Phase 5 procedures for maintenance, preventive maintenance, loss of view, complex loop testing and SIS testing;  Assist in the input to and participate in PSSR walkdowns and meetings;  Actively participate and support Company IP (Information Protection) requirements ;  Assist Process team during facility start-up;  Investigate process up-sets and PAS failures. Propose solutions to mitigate and avoid potential future failures. Implement best practices to increase equipment reliability;  Regularly analyze and track PAS spare parts inventory;  Maintain interfaces with BB Maintenance and FE organizations.?  Perform maintenance for equipment following handover.  Support migration / integration of 3GP MOA control room to IOCC;  Support Automation document handover (CMS) – identify required documents/formats;        Requirements:     Higher Engineering Degree. (Preferably related to Automation and control systems)  Relevant work experience - not less than 5 years.  Must have basic understanding of oil field and/or plant processes.  Program, troubleshoot, configure and upgrade Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley PLC and Siemens PLC  Software development of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) manufactured by Rockwell Automation   Knowledge of using software conversion tools of Programmable Logic Controllers.  Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs integration with Honeywell Experion system  Ladder logic, function blocks, structured text and sequence function charts of industrial PLC applications.  Hardware upgrade of ControlLogix from ControlNet to Ethernet  Allen Bradley PanelView (Classic, Plus, Performance series)  Performing control system and Instrument loop checks, function testing and commissioning of systems  Complex problem solving of control system network, process control issues and hardware issuesUnderstanding of Safety Instrumented System and Process Automation system design.  English Minimum level 3 or higher on TCO scale,  Proficiency in use of MS Office Programs is required.  Additional selection criteria:  Candidate would ideally possess all or some of the following skills:   L3 Process Control System Application Knowledge: Plant State Suite, OSI-PI, Bentley Nevada, Condition Monitoring Systems;   Working Knowledge of Networking and Networking Principals;
