About us
Our Business has been established in the UK since 2005, and this year we have expanded our European customer reach. We have secured offices and a Dutch base of operations in Den Haag. We deliver a wide range of audio-visual, IP physical security, and engineering solutions for medium to enterprise size organisations in the public and private sectors. Our mission is to assist and support our clients through their digital transformation projects and to overcome barriers and complex challenges using engineering & technology.

The Role
- The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the Den Haag business and the future operations staff in that office
- You will naturally ensure the team is highly engaged and competent to deliver exceptional service to clients and the successful delivery of projects
- You are responsible to ensure company processes are followed and that our team has the resources and support needed to carry out their duties to the best of their ability for the business
- Within this role you will be the senior point of contact in region for the operational needs of clients and your colleagues in the event of any issues requiring escalation, support of further involvement
Responsibilities
- To contribute to the growth of the NL office (with support from the entire European team) from day 1, and most importantly to be excited by this type of opportunity
- To provide effective and assured leadership
- To provide day-to-day management of all operations and engineering staff based in the office
- To build a positive team office culture
- To motivate, coach and mentor the team
- Be proactive
- To champion the implementation and the observance of company policies and procedures, monitor and help improve company policies and processes
- To ensure the successful delivery of all projects so that projects are delivered on time and on budget
- To promote and foster excellent relationships with clients and identify opportunities to add value to delight clients and to generate further / repeat business.
- To support new business development activities as required
- Be engaged with our partners and our key technology vendors
- Attend relevant work-related events
Key skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications for operations management, project management, technical or engineering, Health and Safety competencies
- Able to travel within the EU and to the UK
- Coaching, mentoring, hiring and all-round people / management skills
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Strong communications
- Experience working in a similar or related industry would naturally be beneficial (Service, Technical Installation, Fit Out, Building Improvements, Engineering works, M&E, System Integration, Security Systems, Telecoms)
