Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek an Operations Engineer to work in their facilities located in France, under a 6 month contract.
Job Title: Operations Engineer
Location: Paris - France
Duration of services: 6 months
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Responsible of all technical/operations aspects related to the vessel package (project vessel schedule, logistics, engineering and method document review, follow-up constructions installation aids, etc.);
- Oversee the subcontractor engineering processes as needed;
- Prepare the materials and services requisitions (technical specifications, SoW, MTO, TBE, etc) related to the vessel package;
- Participate and provide recommendations during the Risk Assessment;
- Coordinate the mobilization of the resources on board vessel and oversee crowing personel requirements.
- Manage vessels operations (mobilization demobilization, offshore works) and various subcontractors during offshore installation campaigns;
- Act as project Operations engineering on coordinatting and vessel activities along the preparation and execution phases.
Skills:
- Have experience with frameworks and offshore installations and offshore operations (desirable);
- GAP system experience (highly appreciated);
- Ability to manage/Interface with project discipline engineers/ASSET department as and when required.
Competence exigees:
- Fluent in English and French.
Geographical Location:
In order to have access to the input data and to facilitate the exchanges with the persons having an in-depth knowledge of the project, the service will be carried out within the team integrated in the company’s offices + MISSIONS (including BOSIET + MFC at the charge of the contractor and compulsory at the beginning of the mission).
