On behalf of one of our clients, a Leading Developer, I am currently recruiting for a Project Expeditor and Quality Controller to work on a portfolio of Water and Waste Treatment Projects.
 
The position is on a Contract basis with an initial duration of a least 3 months with scope for extension to start in June. The role will be based in Paris - there is the possibility of hybrid working.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 4+ years in the environment, oil, industrial gases or energy sector
  • Fluent English essential 
  • Experience with the equipment concerned: Electromechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.), instrumentation, Taps, piping and accessories, metal boilermaking and Electrical equipment
  • 4+ years experience in QC and Expediting
 
Responsibilities:
Expeditor
  • Ensure control of the contractual deadlines associated with the equipment ordered (QC1, QC2 and QC3 quality levels),
  • Review the contract (Standards, technical specificity, etc.), Acknowledgment of receipt of the order
  • Inform the management of the project (Supply Chain Project Manager (SCPM) and the Project Manager (PM)) of any delays highlighted
  • Expediting report(s)
Quality Control
  • Ensure the review and validation of suppliers' quality control documents: quality control plan, test procedures, welding procedures, certificate of conformity etc
  • Coordinate other quality inspectors who may be involved in the case and ensure that complete and up-to-date documentation is available to them for the inspection of equipment, materials and services
  • Ensure the quality of the equipment ordered on a contract basis
  • Manage the follow-up and resolution of non-conformities
 
Please note that this role is to be primarily based at the offices in the Paris therefore you must be willing to be based within this region, at least for 2 to 3 days per week.

We are currently recruiting for a HSE Superintendent to work in Alexandria, Egypt, for a 12 month contract position. The HSE Superintendent will be responsible for the oversight and assurance of the HSE activities related to the fabrication activities.

 

Key Responsibilities and background:

  • Monitor Contractor and Subcontractors activities and performance, providing support, advice and guidance required to maintain safe and efficient operations, in line with the Upstream HSE Plan, contractors HSE Plan and HSEMS and contractual obligations.
  • Represent Company and advise Contractor on HSE-related topics during weekly construction meetings.
  • Contribute to safety studies, audits and reviews, including MoC as required by Project Delivery Manager.
  • Participate in review of Contractors safe systems of work, including hazard ID, PTW, Risk Assessment & management techniques & TBT’s.
  • Support Contractor in incident investigation and ensure robustness of the entire process.
  • Ensure Contractors record and report accurate HSE statistics, and act as focal point for timely and quality HSE reporting to the Project.
  • Support HSE Initiatives and Programs and ensure effective ownership by Contractor to achieve desired results.
  • Support HSE assurance activity, ensure audit reports, progress reports and HSE performance reports are circulated to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Management of HSE scope delivery and team during the project execution phase.
  • Safe and on time delivery of the HSE scope of work within the Fabrication Yard.
  • Ensure compliance with Company HSE requirements within all work activities.

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
 
  • Oil & Gas industry and related HSE experience. With a recognized HSE qualification - NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lead & coordinate HSE Investigations to establish actual Root Causes, preparing & rolling out learnings and conducting detailed HSE Audits.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with capability to train, coach, mentor, support and successfully influence at various levels (including contractors).
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with contractors and contractor personnel and progress collaborative problem solving. 
  • Fluency in the English language and capable to represent the project in front of all stakeholders in a professional and organized manner.
  • Current Fitness to Work certification.

Core objectives: The FICO functional reports into the ERP Application Manager and maintains responsibility for hands-on leadership in managing and supporting FTM (finance- to-manage), with desired SD knowledge as it relates to Billing and Account Receivable integration within the company’s global SAP system. This position represents the module expertise for Finance globally, and leveraging a global outsourcing team for technical support and ensuring services are delivered according to the Service levels agreed to.

Initially this position will be participating as an integrated member of the Project team during the build, test, and deploy of the new SAP system, and will be required to contribute to, and author some Business Process Procedures and related test documents. Responsible for geologic-geophysical support of well interventions and workover activities, subsurface hazard assessment, uncertainty management plan and continuous collaboration with D&C personnel and service providers, managing internal databases and systems of record. Assists in processing and interpretation of subsurface geological data, involved in construction of earth models for use in reservoir development and depletion planning. 
Works closely with the Drilling, and Reservoir Management groups to support efficient operations and field development. Prepares geologic-geophysical displays, to assist in geologic summaries, visualization, and interpretation for Reservoir Management. Involved in some aspects of reservoir characterization via integration, and analysis of well data.
Job Specification and requirements:
More than 3 years of experience with Degree in Earth Science. GPA - not lower than 3.3 on 4.0 scale. Experienced with Petrel and Techlog. Familiar with most of the subsurface geological data including open hole /cased hole logs and seismic. Good understanding of carbonate reservoir and comprehension of geologic principles. Previous work experience will be considered. Good level of technical English language is expected.
