Our client, a local electrical business, is a Mechanical Supervisor for a 10-12 week contract in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
We are seeking applications of interest from a Mechanical Supervisor to assist with the construction and commissioning of a new Solar Farm near Wagga Wagga, NSW. Your responsibilities include leading a team of technicians, provide technical advice, quality checking, rectifying faults, and commissioning. This role reports to the Site Manager and will be 6 days per week on site. FIFO/DIDO arrangements are available.
Your role will include an active focus on Health and Safety by reporting on hazardous and near miss observations as well as being able to carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Mechanical trade qualification (highly regarded)
- Must have experience on a similar project in PV solar farms
- Construction White Card
- Open Driving License
- First Aid License
- Demonstrated commitment and adherence to safety and environmental requirements
- Experience working with Microsoft applications
- Two industry relevant Referees
- Complete pre-employment medical
