A major Oil & Gas client of ours needs a Marketing Coordinator in Calgary:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
- Design and implement successful marketing campaigns through emails, web content, blogs, and social media;
- Organize promotional activities for programs/services
- Develop marketing and customer-facing resources (i.e. in-store signage)
- Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
- Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material;
- Advise superiors on marketing projects through all project phases;
- Work closely with sales/operations teams to ensure campaign understanding drive results;
- Coordinate marketing projects with internal and external resources;
- Analyse, develop and implement communication and promotion strategies and information programs;
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales/operations team, and provide instructions for use or promotion
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs);
- Present ideas to help promote the brand or campaign in new ways
- Set up tracking systems for marketing activities
- Identify and analyze competitors
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing sales data
- Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials
- Craft clear marketing copy
Requirements:
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools;
- Diploma or bachelors degree in Marketing or relevant field with 2-3 years experience is preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written English communication;
- Data entry and analytic skills;
- Solid computer skills, including full MS Office suite and web analytics
