We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source Administrative Assistant. This is a long-term contract role working on 5 days, Monday to Friday based in Curtis Island, and the client would like to consider candidates based in this region.

The Midstream Engineering Management Assistant role provides technical administrative support to the Midstream Engineering team.
- Provide and manage the Engineering requirements for procurement using Unifier and the SAP EP Online Portal procurement packages. Ensure requisitions are raised in alignment with the scope and conditions of vendor contracts. Receipting goods and services
- Administrator and focal point for the Midstream Engineering SharePoint site and MS Teams
- Develop and extract reports from financial and action tracking systems e.g.Power BI, Excel
- Source information and develop presentation packs
- Use of the Maintenance management system (MAXIMO) for materials requisitions and work requests
- Leverage technical knowledge to format, update and edit technical documents, policies and procedures, and maintain databases within the site guidelines and document management system
- Supports Management of Change (MOC) tracking and processing
- Work effectively within a collaborative / remote team environment
- Facilitate new starter onboarding e.g. ordering PPE, IT account creation and logistics
- Coordinate site visitors or team events (including site mobilization)
- Act as the local focal point for Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Distribute meeting minutes and track action completion
- Maintain supply of stationery, office supplies and PPE for the Engineering team
- Support expense claims through the Concur system
- Coordinate international and domestic travel, accommodation and itinerary arrangements
- Maintain team distribution lists
- Provide effective diary and meeting management
Skills & Requirements:
- Work effectively within a collaborative / remote team environment
- Experience with SAP or a comparable financial database system
- Advanced skills using Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, Forms, OneNote, Power BI)
Additional Job Details:
- The role is face-to-face, based on Curtis Island, Monday – Friday
- Work hours are 0700 – 1510, with the requirement to catch a ferry at 0630 from the mainland ferry terminal near RG Tanna coal terminal.
- The ferry arrives back at the terminal by 1545 each day.
