Responsibilities and Duties
  • Control, file, log and keep up to date status records of all project communications and technical documentation via an electronic/web based document management system (specify system) for remote access.

General Responsibilities

  • Human Resources. Business Administrator shall actively coordinate/facilitate the recruitment of resources, updating the Org Chart with the PM, timekeeping, personnel training, Chapter 8 actions upon mobilization of the PMT OOK, E8000 actions and vacation plans.
  • General administrative services such as IT asset management and vehicle log, budgets and accountability, management presentations, document controls, reporting etc. In addition, Business Administrator will be responsible for the set-up of server privileges and will be the owner of the server access matrix.

The client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Senior Head of Laboratory, being a key member of the laboratory team. The laboratory technologist will assist in developing, validating, and implementing laboratory test methods to support lab sample testing for operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  •  Follow all lab safety protocols and contribute to maintaining safety and address safety issues when they arise.
  • Perform day-to-day activities such as performing routine and ad-hoc testing of process samples and finished product certification.
  •  Ensure lab instruments are calibrated and maintained for optimum performance and will troubleshoot lab instruments when problems arise.
  • Maintain lab consumables supplies, Chemicals, and reagents.
  • Engage with the wider production team to build a strong and coherent culture of collaboration between operations and the laboratory.
  • Contribute to performing lab testing on routine and ad-hoc samples received in the lab to support commissioning activities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in Refining/Petrochemical or heavy industry operations
  • Proven safety leadership skills, a good understanding of HSSE requirements, and track record in managing personal and process safety.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization. Work together with/ align with other engineering disciplines to support operations shift teams.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with key lab equipment such as Gas Chromatography, ICs, Titrators, Spectrophotometers, pH and conductivity meters, etc.
  • Strong computer skills - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong Knowledge of ASTM and Standard Water and wastewater testing test methods, ISO 17025 standard

Qualification:

B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, preferably with Chartered Engineering status or equivalent. Further postgraduate degree or qualification is desirable.

Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in process studies, front-end process design and detailed engineering in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably including process design and engineering of Surface Facilities for CO2 enhanced oil recovery.
  • A mix of experience with Operators and International Consultants is required and GCC experience is desirable.

Summary: Under the direction of the ODR Specialist and in conjunction with the Shift Supervisors and back-up Shift Supervisors, the Operations Shift Scheduler will ensure the shift team’s manning schedules meet team requirements.
 
Core responsibilities
• Perform scheduled call-outs to staff for project and maintenance support – 60% of time
• Perform short-notice call-outs to staff to meet team requirements – 15% of time
• Responsible to update and keep current the shift manning schedules – 5% of time
• Responsible to update and keep current the overtime workbook – 5% of time
• Be the resident expert in the application of the Overtime Call-Out Procedure – 5% of time
 
Education
• Grade 12 Diploma
 
Experience working in a 24-7 rotating shift

Key Accountabilities

The Supplier Manager Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless function of supplier-related processes using cutting-edge transactional tools from GEP and S4 HANA.
This multifaceted position involves analysing, creating, and managing supplier profiles.
As the SPOC, the coordinator takes ownership of the entire supplier creation process. Additionally, they provide technical support and training to the local supply chain community, internal stakeholders, and suppliers. The role is instrumental in maintaining efficient supplier relationships and ensuring accurate supplier data.


Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Creation: End-to-End Ownership: Responsible for the complete supplier creation process, from registration to activation, within the ERP tool.
Detailed Analysis: Conducts thorough analysis of Supplier Registration Forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Pre-Screening Check: Performs pre-screening checks to identify any discrepancies or abnormalities.
Workflow Coordination: Collaborates with internal stakeholders to streamline the approval workflow.
Manages Change: Responsible for supplier profile change requests, validating the data and expediting the process.

Training COP users in mastering the features and functions of the ERP tools. Maintain and updates Canada training materials to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Collaborate with Global Team to ensure the global job aids are relevant and updated for accuracy.


Ongoing Supplier Monitoring:
Coordination with Corporate: Liaises with Global team for monitoring and periodic re-vetting of critical suppliers and security verification of existing suppliers.
Continuous Improvement: Identifies areas for enhancement and improvement within the supplier monitoring process


 Global Connection and Consistency:
Represents the Canada Business Unit in meetings with GEP to discuss specific business process improvement cases and root cause analyses.
Enhancement Evaluation: Serves as the Business Unit spokesperson for managing enhancement opportunities and evaluating out-of-the-box functionality.
Qualifications and Skills
