IT professional proficient in applying established standards and knowledge base acquired from several years of experience in the area of Business Analysis. Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Provides services to internal clients (office and field). Works independently and may instruct or coach other professionals. May lead important projects.
Accountabilities: What is this role accountable for:
• Communicate with business customers to determine their needs for Information Technology (IT) services
• Understand business processes end-to-end, actively measure system contribution to the business function, and initiate process and/or system improvements
• Translate business needs/strategies into IT requirements and source IT services to meet those requirements
• Work with Service Managers to ensure services meet customer needs
• Provide projected demand for services to the Service Managers
• Understand and communicate the cost and value of provided services to the customers
• Manage detailed business process software portfolio (where applicable)
• Perform front end loading (FEL) and business case development
• Lead projects when appropriate
• Work with Business Unit-specific vendors and industry groups
• Influence customer strategies
• Review range of existing solutions available; present options and recommendations to the customer

Qualifications: qualifications that are verified by a SME based on the role (facilitated by the CA team):
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
• 5-10 years as a developer, programmer, business analyst preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong Project Management skills and experience
• Skilled at Business process facilitation and documentation
• Broad understanding of Information Technology services
• Systems knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
