Intermediate Electrical Engineer - Building Services
Summary:
Opportunity to work on large-scale building services projects with Australia’s premier design consultancy. Projects secured in 2022 include skyscrapers, data centres, high-tech laboratories and hospitals.
The electrical services and wider building services division are incredibly busy and as such, are looking for a highly capable Electrical Engineer to join the team in Sydney.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality technical / design input on projects,
- Provide detailed design and documentation across a broad range of projects within electrical engineering and related areas,
- Technical report writing, cost estimating and project team collaboration,
- Mentoring and support of junior engineers, including cooperatively delegating tasks,
- Problem solving, critical, innovative and analytical thinking and showing initiative.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering or similar,
- Chartership or the ability and willingness to attain,
- Experience and knowledge across a range of sectors such as healthcare, commercial, data centres, high-tech etc,
- Experience in detailed/concept design of small, medium and large sized projects,
- Proven relevant industry experience in Electrical Engineering, within a consulting and design business environment; including the ability to advise clients on cost-effective, sustainable solutions.
