Our client, a major Oil, and Gas company is looking for an HSE Advisor V to work in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago for a 6 months contract.
HSE Advisor will primarily support the Client's Wells program's Compliance, Environmental and Social Aspects in conformance with Trinidad and Tobago regulations and the client’s sustainability, engineering, and HSE requirements.
Specifically, the advisor will engage in the following:
CEC Permit applications:
Follow up and respond to any FIs for CEC applications
Upon issuance of CEC generate CEC Commitments Register
CEC Commitments register roll out-Communicate CEC requirements to all stakeholders (Client & contractors)
CEC Compliance:
Develop a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for each CEC and submit it to EMA for approval (Note, work cannot commence until the EMA issues approval for the QAPP)
Submit all pre-startup requirements to the EMA as defined by CEC
Performance manage the delivery of environmental monitoring from rig & fluids contractors in a timely manner to meet CEC reporting requirements
Review environmental monitoring results. Where there are potential exceedances, solicit feedback/explanations from the relevant Wells/Rig team personnel
Submit all environmental monitoring and other CEC-required submissions to the EMA and respond to any resultant queries
Submit any updates to EMA as required (e.g. scope changes; chemical updates)
Client’s report:
One CSR reporting- information gathering & input into the system
Submit government reportable (GR) to Region Compliance Advisor monthly & verify entry into IRIS by the GWO team
LRMS:
Verify that Risk Management Plan (RMP) is being delivered
Liaise with Finance & C&A on any LRMS issues emerging during operations
Provide technical E&S support to Wells team on any emergent issues
Verify that E&S risks included in L3 risk registers for Sav & Angelin
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree: Science or Engineer
Regulating drilling operation experience – and some familiarity with the offshore environment
Drilling operations familiarity with oil and gas operations and drilling operations.
Experience in an offshore facility is an asset, not critical.
