Position: Head of Human Resource (HR) – Construction Company
Location: To be based in HQ, Kuala Lumpur
The core focus of this role is budget allocation, strategy creation and implementation of HR’s vision, strategies and policies.
An area of focus will be creating a successful Talent Acquisition system across all departments that serves the companies recruitment goals and policies.
General HR Management & Function - Manage and administer all aspects of Human Resources function, policies and procedures.
HR Strategy - Lead and manage a team of HR professionals in the execution of the overall HR strategy that aligns with the organisation’s objectives and business activities comprising of hiring, performance appraisal, learning & development, compensation and succession planning.
Talent Development & Management Programme - Drive Talent Management Programme, succession planning and learning & development initiative.
Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding - Lead and manage Talent Acquisition & Talent Sourcing Strategies
Training & Development
Plan and manage learning & development framework for all level of staff by working closely with line managers
Awards recognition program – To have a holistic awards recognition program that is suitable and adaptable to all employees in the organization
HR Metrics & Analytics - Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of HR policies through compiling and analyzing data
Staff Engagement Programme - Drive series of staff engagement activities such as annual dinner, sports days, family day, team
Business Continuity Planning for Covid-19 - Understand Business Continuity Planning System and relevant advisories issued by MOH and other Government Agencies
• BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in Human Resources will be a plus
• Proven experience as HR Director
• Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives
• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
• Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
• A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
15 years (or more) of relevant working experience Good communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English
