Qualifications
Degree in any Engineering discipline, Project Management or equivalent (preferably in Mechanical or Materials, Corrosion & Inspection Engineering)
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 20
SPECIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCY
Experience in the aspects of maintenance, inspection, corrosion, and materials, in operating Oil & Gas or Petrochemical
Conversant with the following standards and statutory requirements:
Malaysian FMA 1967, OSHA 1994, PSMA 1984 PETRONAS Technical Standards International Codes and Standards

JOB SCOPE
Formulate compliance strategies and direction on regulatory compliance practices, issues, challenges in formulating ARC strategy and plan align with business direction and requirements to safeguard the people, environment, assets, reputation, and confidence of stakeholders. Provide direction and formulation through industrial benchmarking and industry best practices on regulatory requirements.
Govern and enforce full compliance to regulatory requirements Offshore Self- Regulation Management System (OSRMS) framework, standard and guidelines by instituting good corporate governance and practices to ensure continual improvements and sustain asset integrity excellence and safeguard plant and shareholders' image as a responsible multinational company. Lead and advise on new Regulations, guidelines, requirements by establishment of comprehensive compliance plan.
Drive the formulation and ensure effective implementation of ARC Assurance Processes through work collaboration with respective department heads, establishing and maintain LV work processes, formulating KPI‘s for all established work processes and ensuring activities are consistent with the requirement of Plant Management System that enables safe, reliable, and continuous plant operation while complying to procedures, standards, and statutory requirements.
Establish strategic alliances and collaborations with external and internal stakeholders Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and Marine Department of Malaysia (MARDEP). Sustain value impact stakeholder‘s management strategies by prioritizing and determining strategic business alliances and collaboration and institute regular engagements with Government Authorities, Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and Marine Department of Malaysia (MARDEP). Regulators, customers, vendors, contractors and major stakeholders and leverage on such relationships to gain amicable solutions and approval.
Adopt and enforce a distinctive approach in the delivery of change management and introducing appropriate interventions in accordance with Plant Management System (PMS) to achieve the desired Self- Regulation Behavior and Culture that is required for the sustainability of a quality self-regulation practices at all levels.
