The opportunity
A position of leadership has surfaced with an esteemed client of ours. Our main land Chinese contractor is looking a General Manager of Projects for their high rise projects department.
The Company
Our client is a specialist in high rise main contractor works and has multiple projects around Malaysia. They are financially very strong and will be venturing into new areas of construction in 2021.
The role
Candidates with a proven track record of managing multiple projects are highly favored. Managing the time, cost and quality of the project is of utmost importance. Most importantly you must be a willing motivator to drive the project from the front while keeping spirits high on site.
The duties
- Project manage overall delivery of construction project while keeping to agreed contract

Ensuring time, cost, quality and safety standards are constantly monitored and assessed.

Coordinating between various stakeholders, sub-contractors, consultants and other strategic relationships
The skills and experience required

Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects at one time. High rise projects only.

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant discipline

15 years+ site based experience

Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills

Reliable references from past projects would be an added advantage
