Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a "Field Service Coordinator" to work in their facilities located in Chinchilla, Australia on a 10 months contract.
About the business
The Field Service Coordination Team are part of the Real Estate Team and are responsible for services for Non-Hydrocarbon Infrastructure (NHI). The Field based team is supported by the Real Estate Management Team in Brisbane. The Real Estate team will be undertaking key business critical exercises. These roles will be central to the successful execution of the Accommodation Strategy 2021 - 2025.
About the role
This role supports the Management of the company's Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Contractor for Company Owned Camps, Offices and Remote Facilities as well as 3rd Party Accommodation Camps in the Surat Field, QLD.

Skills and experience
Some of the key accountabilities of the role include;
- Assurance of:
- day to day operations of camps,
- maintenance of remote offices & facilities
- Primary point of contact and escalation for field-based personnel in relation to camps, remote offices and facilities issues
- Coordination of camp allocations – Managing demand
- Completion on LOD1 Audits weekly & monthly:
- reporting on contractor performance
- Monitoring and reporting on allocated budget
- Key interface with suppliers including:
- IFM Contractor;
- camp operators,
- maintenance contractors,
- local contractors
- Support for ad-hoc projects (eg Shutdowns)
- Support in the development of Indigenous and local content contractors & service providers
- Leveraging experience and industry knowledge to deliver cost and process efficiencies
- Ad-hoc coordination of Health & Lifestyle activities
- Support other Real Estate Activities: Waste Management / Fleet
Requirements:
You should have a good understanding of technical standards, company requirements and legislation associated with camp and facility management. Other experience can be detailed as follow:-
- Food Safety Certificates – desired
- Knowledge of HACCP Accreditation - desired
- Customer service experience - desired
- Responsible Service Of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate - required
- Previous experience in camp or facility management
- Permit To Work Holder - desired
- Valid Australian Open Driving License, including manual transmission
- Use of reporting tools (eg Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work unsupervised in remote locations
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
