As part of the development of our Fabrication Proposal Support department (SURF Fabrication -
SSA-SFAB-FABPS), we are looking for a Fabrication Proposal Engineer - F/H.
Mission and job description
Reporting to the head of the Manufacturing Proposal Support department (SURF Fabrication - SSA-SFABFABPS) and integrated into the call for tenders response team for the Manufacturing - Proposals part:
You will participate and be responsible for ensuring the interface and the good flow of information with the functions
Tendering, Engineering, Technologies, Commissioning, Procurement, Installation and construction sites
manufacturing.
In collaboration with the proposal teams, you will be responsible for studying one or more calls
offers in parallel and coordinate the project in the proposal phase with the manufacturing site(s)
(Manufacturing Yard).
You will be responsible for contributing to the monitoring, maintenance, support, training and
development of the manufacturing estimation tool.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Response to call for tenders:
- Analyze the tender documents to define the response strategy, the resources required and the means to put in place
- Participate in the consultation with the Procurement department of the necessary subcontractors and analyze / clarify the offers received on the basis of the elements transmitted
- Ensure the coordination of the various support departments involved (locally or not, in the company's group)
- You will plan and prepare the necessary documents (deliverables) for the development of the offer for the manufacturing part
- You will verify, in collaboration with the Manufacturing Cost Study Engineers, the estimate taking into account the defined strategies and the Client's requests
- Ensure the transfer to the operational
- Collect and consolidate feedback
2. Support and development of manufacturing estimation tools:
- Contribute to the monitoring, maintenance, development and support of the Excel estimation tool Manufacturing
- Contribute to the training of the manufacturing estimation tool for the different users
- Contribute to the development of IT tools (Excel) in connection with the Manufacturing
