Our major client, in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking an Emission Tech to work within their facilities located in Platteville, CO for a 12-month assignment (subject to extension).
Job Responsibilities
LDAR responsibilities: Complete assigned inspection by frequency deadline. LDAR inspections are completed by using a Flir OGI camera.
- Perform basic repairs on production equipment. Emissions tech is responsible for making the first attempt at repair during the LDAR inspection.
- Perform rescreen inspections on components that have been repaired.
- Perform AVO follow up inspections. Leaks repaired that were found during AVO inspections.
- Well head inspections.
- Required during LDAR on HZ locations and predetermined vertical locations.
- At the request of Vertical well prep. Checking disassembled well heads for venting.
- Rig and completions inspections. Inspections that take place during drilling and completions activities.
- Air monitoring inspections. Take place after temporary monitors pick up a reading. Generally, around drilling and completions sites.
- Completely and accurately fill out the inspection form data in the MIT program.
AVO responsibilities:
- Complete AVO inspections by frequency deadline.
- AVO inspection is completed by doing a walk-through inspection of the location.
- Identify any venting issues.
- Follow steps under LDAR to complete repair and rescreen.
- Completely and accurately fill out the inspection form data in the MIT program.
Required Skills:
- Self-motivated.

- Knowledge of production equipment.
- Ability to make basic repairs. With understanding of LOTO and SOP’s.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Computer competence. Ability to use Outlook, SAP, Excel, Word, and MIT programs.
- 8 & 6 schedule with 10-hour days.
- On call rotation.
Work Schedule: 8 days on/ 6 days off (10 hours per day)
