TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives and sorts mail and then distributes mail to appropriate individuals or department. - Ensures delivery of outgoing mail to courier or post office.

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to seek three Lease Operators to work in their facilities located in Midland, TX. 1 year assignment, subject to extension.

MAIN FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the safe and efficient operations, monitoring, and maintenance preparation of wells, processing units, and related facilities. This position requires a strong focus on oil, gas, and water separation facilities operations, along with major utilities, and secondary expertise in all operations. This is a large project, including not only on-site facility start-up but also utilization of operating tools, procedures, work-permitting, and training. Candidates with experience in new facilities startup and operations are highly desirable.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for personal safety and the safety of co-workers. Follows and enforces all safety rules.
  • Primary operations contact for their facilities. Understands process flow, basic chemistry associated with the unit, major line-ups, and all unit safety equipment, including isolation points. Reviews computer data and computer-generated schematics to ensure process optimization.
  • Physically inspects and monitors equipment and/or the work area using vision, hearing, smell, and touch, to ensure correct operation.
  • Issues Safe Work Permits, which involves a high degree of proficiency on current operating conditions as well as chemical, personnel, and process safety risks associated with the operating unit.
  • Performs gas testing as necessary to ensure the Operating area is safe to allow for specific maintenance activities to be performed.
  • Process monitoring activities include Gauge Tanks, read meters, accurately record data, taking product samples, differential pressure, chemical injection rates, checking for leaks, freezing, overheating, etc.
  • Performs "visual maintenance" by checking critical performance parameters such as temperature, pressure, level, flow rate, and/or vibration to ensure all equipment is operating within its defined operating envelope.
  • Adjusts local process parameters (temperature, pressure, etc.) to maintain product specifications within their optimal operating window.
  • Keep Company Vehicle Maintained and in good working condition.
  • Coordinate Oil Sales and saltwater hauling as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate electronic or paper gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changes.
  • Checks control valve positions to ensure valves are correctly positioned.
  • Performs basic equipment maintenance (adding lube oil, water, tightening valve packing, changing filters and steam traps, clearing equipment, etc.).
  • Communicates with Production Foreman to remain informed of existing process conditions and relate any changes made or needed.
  • Performs winterization and summarization of equipment for maximum equipment efficiencies.
  • Monitors field equipment using electronic test equipment including handheld monitors and computer monitoring equipment.
  • Inspects safety valves, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, breathing apparatus, and other safety equipment.
  • Participates in continuous improvement of all aspects of the business that they are assigned to execute.
  • Understands and performs work according to environmental policies and procedures. Executes work in a manner that eliminates or minimizes environmental impacts (flaring emissions, oil spills, etc.). Attaches a high priority to resolving environmental problems.
  • Understands and follows all working rules. Continuously improves job knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrates reliable attendance. Able to work independently where appropriate. Supports the team effort to execute assigned tasks and meet the team’s business objectives.

1. OBJECT

The service, the subject of this document, is part of the preliminary project and detailed studies for
the naval and offshore oil projects that we carry out

The requested service concerns the implementation and administration of 3D models with the AVEVA E3D software as well as support for the study teams working on these models.

2. WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT

The services that our client wishes to entrust consist of carrying out, under the responsibility of the pipe studies manager and based on project data:
- setting up 3D models at the start of projects and configuring tools to meet project needs
- creation / updating of 3D catalogs of piping / valves / supports / electricity / HVAC
- integration of point clouds from 3D laser surveys
- implementation of the progress measurement of the 3D Model
- integrity checks of data to be extracted from the 3D Model
- extraction of 3D magazines using Navisworks software
- extraction of data from the 3D Model for piping / faucet / electricity measurements, list of lines, list of supports etc...
- configuration of 2D plan outputs (piping isometrics, arrangement plans, support plans, etc.)
- interfaces between the different engineering disciplines and the software used (Inventor/AVEVA E3D/TEKLA

- support to the study team for modeling in the 3D model and integration of piping networks,
electricity, HVAC, instrumentation and structure (interfacing with the naval structure part)

The service will also include:
- Participation in internal design reviews
- Verification of compliance with business rules, applicable standards and consistency of studies with project requirements
- The ability to be a force of proposal and a driving force in the delivery of the service, the treatment of difficult points, the lifting of reservations to ensure the objectives of deadlines, quality and costs.

3. PROFILE – EXPECTED SKILLS
To carry out the requested services, the incumbent must provide the following skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping studies and 3D modeling in the Energy, Petrochemicals and/or Oil & Gas fields
- Mastery of Aveva E3D / PDMS software for design, administration and management modules
3D catalog
- Mastery of business rules, applicable codes and international standards for the design of piping networks with solid knowledge of piping-valves equipment
- Mastery of design and 3D modeling of pipes and supports, and drawing
2D (isometrics, pipe plans, support plans, etc.).
- Good knowledge of programming and IT tools, mastery of Excel software

  • Accurately enter daily volumes, well tests, down time, and injection information into a computer database in a timely manner.
  • Monitor daily production inputs into electric data gathering software and compare input data with output data for accuracy.
  • Proactively monitor and optimize production costs within area of control.
  • Perform minor hands-on production equipment repairs - generate work notifications/material request for all other work that is needed for equipment reliability.
  • Operate and optimize Artificial Lift Systems such as: wellhead compression, capillary strings, plunger lift, foamed injection, gas lifts and flow case equipment.
  • Execute required regulatory tasks generated by SAP, such as A&OI inspections, site security, and end of the month closings.
  • Take full ownership for daily operations and maintenance of assigned wells.
  • Have ability to be on call and respond to call-out alarms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order on lease routes and at facilities.

  • Searches various databases for test methods, specifications, and standards to locate information required to complete analyses. Promptly and accurately records calculates, and reports analytical results.
  • Maintains appropriate records to meet internal requirements as well as, ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001. Completes various daily instrument calibrations and inspections.
  • Observe good safety and housekeeping practices.
  • May serve as Safety Officer for the shift.
  • Maintains laboratory supplies, prepares solutions, cleans glassware, disposes of solid/liquid waste, and other duties to help in the overall operations of the laboratory.

Well Delivery Geophysicist
This geophysicist will work as part of a multi-discipline squad to plan and execute wells in a manner consistent with Company's New Wells Common Process and Company’s standards for Safety and Operational Risk Management.

Well Planning:
  •                 Support and/or lead well planning activities and construction of relevant documents.
  •                 Liaise with Exploration and/or Asset Geoscientists to ensure the well planning activities and documents continue to meet the target objectives and desired outcomes articulated for the well.
  •                 Assume primary responsibility for seismic description of the overburden. This includes (but is not limited to) mapping surfaces, generating and interpreting attributes, understanding and communicating the strengths and limitations of the current datasets, and recommending new data or reprocessing as warranted.
  •                 Generate depth prognoses (with uncertainty ranges) for appropriate surfaces and faults.
  •                 Identify potential subsurface-related drilling issues using seismic analysis, offset well information, and any additional data sources available.
  •                 Work with wells engineers and pore pressure specialists to design well paths and target boxes that meet subsurface well objectives while avoiding or mitigating drilling/completion risks.
  •                 Assist in the creation of pre-drill risk registers and ensure mitigation and contingency plans are created for all geological risks.
  •                 Support and/or lead the construction of the SOR document ensuring the well objectives, data acquisition, and all relevant overburden characterization elements are contained.
  •                 Assist in the construction of the (Geological Operations Plan (GOP), ensuring all relevant information is contained in this document.

Well Operations:
  •                 Participate in daily subsurface operations meeting.
  •                 Participate as required and contribute relevant subsurface interpretations at the morning Wells rig call.
  •                 Participate in subsurface hole section previews.
  •                 Provide support to the Operations Geologist: daily and as needed.
  •                 Help interpret and select formation tops, casing, and core points per SOR and appropriate decision trees. Do real-time well ties/synthetics as need.

Post Well:
  •                 Support successful End-of-Well Report completion, ensuring the report meets the expectations of the New Wells Common Process.
  •                 Capture and document all post well key learnings in the corporate database and share in appropriate technical venues.
  •                 Support root cause analysis for any Non-Productive Time (NPT) event related to subsurface operations and ensure these learnings are distributed through the appropriate venues and stakeholders.

Requirements/Experience:
        • University Degree in geophysics, geology, or related subject.
        • 7-18 years, much of which should have been gained in a geoscience well planning environment.  General knowledge of Operations Geology would be an asset but not required.
        • Essential industry experience in the areas of well operations, well planning, seismic interpretation, and seismic depth uncertainty characterization.
        • Geological and seismic interpretation and workstation skills are essential; experience with Petrel is highly desirable.
        • Experience with deep water Gulf of Mexico exploration and development wells is highly desirable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
