Required Skills:

Job responsibilities:
Management
-
To Manage the functions of branches in, Assets & Services, Human Resource, Talent Management and Information and Communication Technology.

To manage and lead the staff of the Directorate in the provision of human resource & administration, technical, consultation and advisory support for other Directorates in relation to Human Resource & Administration;

Develop quality standards, quality monitoring and quality reporting systems for human resource & administration;

Plan and carry out staff development in the Directorate to enhance the skills/knowledge of staff to perform their roles/responsibilities to a higher standard;

Manage the development, implementation and monitoring of the Workforce Planning Strategy which includes, succession planning, graduate development programs and the Three Year Training Plan;

Manage the research and development of quality standards, quality monitoring and quality reporting systems for human resource & administration, talent management, information technology and assets and services;

Ensure all the Policies and Procedures are adhered to, including HR Policies and Procedures, ICT Policies and Procedures, Assets Management Policies and Procedures;

Create the opportunity for staff to develop and practice multi-skilling;

Create a workplace environment which encourages staff to be hands-on and receptive to client need
Finance Management
-
To manage finance in order for the Directorate to be effective and efficient in planning, organizing, directing and controlling of financial activities and processes of the Directorate. This includes but is not limited to fund procurement, allocation of financial resources, utilization of funds, acquittals, internal audits, financial reports, etc., so that all planned work programs are adequately funded and all financial processes are complied with.

Provide leadership in developing the Directorate’s Annual Work Plan and Budget to ensure delivery of the Directorate’s services.
Asset Management

To manage organizational assets assigned to the Directorate so that all are adequately maintained to achieve the required outcomes of the Directorate;

Manage the Asset Planning Strategy through the asset register to ensure timely and accurate information is provided for maintenance, replacement and forward planning purposes.
ICT Management
-
Manage the scoping, acquisition and security of computer hardware and software needs.
