Job description
The candidate’s primary role is to originate and develop new renewable project opportunities (EPC, O&M) and secure project orders both for EPC as well O&M.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve market leadership in the Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, Storage sectors.
- Plan & perform aggressive business development activities for meeting the set targets, Initial activity would include understanding the organization’s solutions & projects delivered in the past, updating the database of the organization, understanding its expertise.
- Lead deal structuring and commercial negotiations with client and other key market players for the acquisition of EPC pipelines or establishment of JVs and other possible partnership.
- Identify the customer requirement and provide product, project, EPC or knowledge-based solution & Consult customers and EPCs of renewable energy and partner with them in Solar Power Plants.
- Properly assess the commercial & contractual terms of each opportunity ensuring its economic viability. Also evaluating & understanding both the technical and economical parts of the projects.
- Thoroughly read and understand the RFP/ RFQ/ bid documents for solar projects and other infrastructure business as per company’s strategy.
- Lead and coordinate the technical design development alongside the Technical Office for new projects.
- Prepare tenders and bid (Technical & Economical) for new business
Skills:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the development / construction of renewable projects and infrastructure sector project in Japan.
- Should be able to understand the techno-commercial aspects of a solar PV plant. Preferable Engineering degree holders.
- A dynamic and adaptable professional with experience in Business Development and should have a working experience in solar/Power/Electrical sector in projects / system sales,
- The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, be well versed in Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
- Experience in bidding for EPC & O&M projects and in preparation of Technical-Economical proposals.
