Our client, a major Oil and Gas company is seeking a Building & HVAC Engineering Services to work initially in France or remotely and following the project in UAE or UK.

Activities

To liaise with the company's Head office TEC: HVAC & Structural departments to keep them aware
Report to Lead Civil and Structural Engineer, concerning discipline progress and areas of concern and to prepare daily report for his/her discipline
To perform the review and the monitoring of the HVAC engineering activities performed by the Contractor and his sub-contractors
To review and analyze planning updates including critical path for discipline related activities; review and approve progress for discipline related activities and coordinate with Project planning engineer and Senior Process engineer
To check the engineering documents, in his/her discipline, prepared by the contractor and to give prompt comments and/or approval, in accordance with the contract procedures and requirements.
To check the incorporation of such comments by the contractor.
To follow up (when relevant) procurement, construction, expediting, FAT, Precom and Comm for discipline related activities. This includes potential worldwide visits to Sub-Contractors or Vendors location
To follow up interfaces with other disciplines and other packages of the Project to ensure consistency of the work
To participate to the Procurement technical package preparation and to assist Procurement disciplines during all the purchase phases.
To prepare and to attend all major inspections
To review proposed technical queries and deviations and give recommendations for project management approval
To support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives
To Comply with the HSE Training required for his position
To check the adequacy of the contractor's personnel mobilization and demobilization.
To participate/organize weekly and/or monthly coordination site meetings with Engineering Contractors as appropriate

Accountabilities
Reporting to the Lead Civil & Structural Engineer, perform as Technical Authority for HVAC Discipline Engineering and Civil Engineering. Ensure that costs to company are minimized and that project schedule is maintained. Manage the Engineering Contractors and Equipment Vendors. Responsible for the development of the architecture, structure and ergonomics of HVAC systems on the TILENGA Facilities. Close relations with the company Head office TEC/HVAC department to achieve proper discipline design completion
Qualifications/Experience required
The Service Provider must have the following qualifications and experience: Engineering degree in relevant discipline 10 plus years’ experience from civil trade in development of onshore and offshore facilities in petroleum & gas industry in projects through all life-cycle stages of project development (FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning). English mandatory
