JOB SCOPE:
- As Assistant Interface Engineer you will lead the implementation and the timely completion of specific tasks, in accordance with both the contractual and Client internal requirements.
- Ensure delivery of task that is include Interface Management, Delivery Management, Area Management, or Change Management.
- Resolving differences between project, engineering, and operation teams as in most situations the project team may disrupt the operational team daily activities which will impact the asset productivity and deliverables.
- Ensuring that all parties are aware with current and latest update on the project especially with regards of interfacing between parties and between project phases.
- Keep an efficient and clear record of all interface information related to the project
- Managing and ensuring an efficient integration with regards to interface between existing system and new conversion requirement.
- Identify and analyse root cause of the project engineering and the asset operational problems, incidents or accidents and recommend effective solutions to prevent recurrence during the project.
EXPERIENCE:
- With minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project interface role for FPSO Hull conversion project.
- Have taken on a Project Interface role for a minimum for 2 Major FSO Hull or 1 Major FPSO (Hull conversion size up to 10,000 DWT).
- Have minimum taken on a supervision role for 2 Major FSO Hull Interface or 1 Major FPSO, managing project and construction interfaces for all disciplines until mechanical completion.
- Preferably minimum 2 years working experience in China.
- Good understanding of International Shipyards is preferable and an added value.
- Good understanding of schedule and resource planning
- Fundamental understanding of concepts, principles and practices in the oil and gas Industry.
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or equivalent.
