Airswift (Air Energy Caspian LLP) is currently looking for an expat 5106 MEI Blue Lead Contracts Advisor for one of our largest projects in Tengiz, 28 / 28 days rotation. Job functions and responsibilities:
•The ability to make sound decisions quickly and escalate to Management where appropriate.
•Flexible and adaptable approach to demands and changes in work activity
•Lead and coordinate the administration of ME&I (Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation) contract/s, including Contract Change Management, claims management and administration, contracts assurance processes, and contract closeout.
•Contribute to safety program, health and environment protection, reliability, and efficiency to achieve world-class performance of the project strategies.
•Actively participate in BBS program and contribute to IIF culture.
•Work together with other the project teams & stakeholders to manage contractor performance and progress
•Ensure all Contractor and Company contract related deliverables are following contract terms & conditions, in addition to the company expectations and requirements
•Participate in planning and review sessions
•Facilitate Contractor progress review meeting and maintain record of discussions and agreements
•Review as well as draft contractor correspondence and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
•Ensure contractors are utilizing all applicable Safe Work Practices (SWP) and Procedures
•Comply with all the project contracting policies and procedures
•Use required and applicable tools/software applications for managing contract correspondence, storing documents and for conforming with contracting governance, auditing requirements, and invoicing and payment policies and procedures.
•Prepare contract amendments or change orders as required
•Track and manage Contractor claims
•Work with the project Base Business, contracts, claims management function and other stakeholders to support project requirements
•Ensure any contractor correspondence, execution or amendments comply with the company Governance requirements
•Perform contracts closeout and support contract audits
Job requirements:
- Higher education in relevant field (Bachelor)
- Diploma or higher in Business or supply chain management is desirable
- At least 10 years of experience in contracts development, administration, and closeout related role in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Technical/major capital project experience desirable.
- Major Capital Project Contracting Policies and Procedures
- EPC/EPCI/EPCm both Unit Rates based, and Time and Materials based Contract Planning, development, and Administration
