What's the job?
At Airswift a Recruitment Consultant is a regional 360 role responsible for Business Development with new clients, Account Management with existing and Recruiting for key positions - you will support from:

  • Business Development Leaders, across the region generating leads and opportunities
  • Global marketing
  • Malaysia Delivery Centre
  • Presence in 8 countries (China, Indonesia, Malaysia, PNG, Brunei, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand)


With these resources you will be responsible for developing and owning your own market within one of our core business areas:
Energy - Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables
Process - High Tech Manufacturing, Chemicals, Metals or Biotech

Having such a large support, but such a small perm team - you can be guaranteed you will not be fighting for clients with your colleagues.
In fact our model requires you to be selective and only take on quality business.

Our office is in One Raffles Place at the heart of the CBD, it is a great area to meet clients and candidates with plenty of options for lunch gym, or after work socializing!
We have a team which is mixed with people from a variety of backgrounds and ages - we are more grown up than some agencies;

Could you do the job?
While the market is buoyant, competition is plenty - to be successful in sales and recruitment here you will need to:

  • Be adaptable to different, cultures, communication styles and different levels of interaction.
  • Be confident teaching clients a new way of working and challenging their perceptions of recruitment.
  • Be able to qualify candidates, match to requirements and understand motivations
  • Have the confidence to advise candidates and clients on the best course of action.
  • Be willing and able to generate leads and market yourself/Airswift, driving interest through social media, producing quality business proposals as well as closing.


How can you demonstrate this?

  • Show us a track record of successful recruitment and placements in one of our markets OR something related
  • Have experience recruiting in Singapore, or other areas across Asia


Anything else?
English communication skills are a must, knowledge of Mandarin or other Asian languages are a plus.
Your industry background and client contacts are not what we are looking for - we want to hire consultants with the right skills and attitude - we will help with the rest!
