  • To review and approve Safety design deliverables developed by Safety Engineering team members, e.g. Calculations, reports, data sheets, input to data sheets and specifications, drawings, line lists, etc. to ensure the design deliverables meet the project requirements.
  • To review and approve the Formal Safety Assessment studies (such as FERA, EERA, ESSA, QRA, TRIA, Dropped Object study, ship collision study, SCE PS, HSE Case and etc) and incorporate the safety study findings into design
  • Understand and monitor all interfaces with Class Society and Clients to ensure requirements are properly addressed and relevant documents are reviewed timely.
  • Well versed in international codes and standards, class rules applicable for process safety (such as IEC, ISO, API, NFPA, BV, ABS etc.)
Job requirements:
  • Academic: Degree/Bachelor/Master in any Chemical or Process Safety/ Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering from recognized university. Other degree holders are welcome while having relevant safety experience.
  • Preferred: Functional Safety certification with relevant experience and able to facilitate internal workshop such as HAZID, HAZOP as and when needed.
  • You have at least 15 years of relevant experience.

As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you must be familiar with package engineering functions, vendor documents, and select FATs. You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package. The Rotating Equipment Engineer must prioritize activities and liaise with other Discipline Leads as needed to ensure deliverables.
Job Requirements
  • Good package engineering skills with design and operational knowledge of rotating equipment such as Gas Turbine (Power Generation & Mechanical Drive), gas compressor and WI pumps, etc. Experience of combined cycle plants is an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of static and package equipment such as pressure vessels, Gas Dehydration System, Seawater Treatment System, Gas Treatment/Conditioning System, etc.

The focus of this position is Field-level controls to support construction.

Functions include:

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contract terms and review technical scopes of work.
  • Lead the internal development of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and final negotiations, such as:

Activities
He/she shall ensure that SOR, Project Specifications and Procedures, Company General Specifications and international codes are well followed for the design of the modifications/integrations to be performed in the frame of the Projects. The activities include in particular:
1. Perform process calculations (H&M balances, valve sizing, compressor curves digitalization & ProII/ Unisim simulations)
2. Extract data from PI (TOTALENERGIES internal operating software) and be able to perform a consistent mapping/analysis.
3. Analyse process output and support lead for process discussions and presentations to the other discipline.

Context and environment PBF is the brownfield project division of TEPA and benefits of a matrix organization. It’s managing projects from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/ hand-over to Block Field Operation teams. The nature of the brownfield projects, i.e. most of the execution activities offshore are executed in SIMOPS on live FPSOs (Girassol, Dalia, Pazflor, CLOV on Block 17, Kaombo Norte and Sul on Block 32 and Begonia on Block 17/06) and congested seabed, increases the risks and consequently the challenges of the projects (coactivities with other projects and maintenance activities, minimization of production shortfalls…). 2/2 PBF is managing EPC contracts with major international Contractors but also local players including onshore prefabrication in Angola, offshore construction and Installation (FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, SIMOPS, high number of contractors & subcontractors). Within PBF projects portfolio, the GIRASSOL and DALIA life extension projects are aiming to extend the life of the GIRASSOL/ROSA and DALIA fields for an extra 10 years. The GIRASSOL Life extension project consists of an extent of different type of activities (Maintenance works, pipeworks, hull repair, flexibles replacement, ICSS upgrade, flowlines change out, XT change out, addition of bearing pads, mooring chains replacement, wells intervention, etc.) split into Packages. The different work packages are attributed to different entities within Affiliate and not to one single entity for the full scope.

DALIA CLOSED FLARE RETROFIT is part of the DALIA LIFEX project. Topsides modification scope consider the LP compressor rebundling and installation of the closed flare module with fast opening valves on the flare stacks and new flare gas recovery unit and the change of the blanketing gas of the Crude Oil Tanks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Management: Spearhead the creation and maintenance of project schedules, serving as a crucial pillar for progress monitoring in our dynamic EPCm projects.
  • Analysis and Correction: Undertake Critical Path Analysis, generate insightful deviation analyses, and propose strategic corrective actions to ensure the seamless attainment of project end dates.
  • Personnel Deployment: Develop meticulous personnel deployment plans, optimizing the allocation of resources for enhanced project efficiency.
  • Change Management Support: Play a pivotal role in supporting our project management team during change management processes, ensuring adaptability to evolving project dynamics.
  • Client Representation: Leverage your wealth of experience to represent our cliënt in Schedule Challenge meetings with clients, collaborating closely with our project managers, particularly in interactions with Worley.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Possess a completed engineering degree (university/FH).
  • Experience: Showcase a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience as a scheduler in industrial or plant construction, with a specialized focus on multidisciplinary projects within the petrochemical and chemical industries.
  • Language Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in negotiating in both German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Technical Skills: Exhibit an excellent command of Primavera P6, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft applications. Previous experience with Progress Control and Cost Controlling in projects is highly valued.
  • Project Management: Showcase familiarity with phase-based project execution structures.
  • Software Proficiency: Display strong skills in MS-Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, alongside general MS Office proficiency.
  • Eligible to work in Germany (visa/blue card)

Airswift are currently recruiting for a Principal Estimator to join their project delivery team in Brentford on a 12month contract basis.

 
The Principal Estimator will provide a leadership focus within the Project Delivery team. Passionate about the Estimating discipline and increasing quality and exposure of the department, the Principal estimator will be responsible for preparation of Estimates of all classes for world-scale projects

Responsibilities

  •  Activity schedule identifying all deliverables and interfaces with other disciplines.
  •  Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for resolution of difficult or complex estimating problems.
  • Coordinate and drive input from engineering, supply chain and construction disciplines to ensure inputs are in line with estimating.
  • Classification procedures using cooperative and proactive problem-solving techniques.
  •  Establish the key parameters associated with the overall quality and accuracy of the estimate.
  •  Prepare the Estimate Plan to include establishment of the estimating methodology and cost estimating principles applicable to the estimate preparation.
  • Provide support in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost estimating problems.
  •  Oversees and guides the conversion of engineering take-offs to construction BOQs.
  •  Review of contractor pricing including conducting gap analysis against project scope.
  •  Tracking and trending of TIC during execution phase.
  • Compare and analyze scope, quantities and cost data between projects. 
  • In comparison with previous estimates, outcome costs and vendor prices, carry out benchmark estimates through high level norms and industry standards.
  • Prepare Basis of Estimate and compile all estimate documentation required for internal governance and client presentation / submission
  • Support with check estimates, PEER Reviews and forecasting as required.
  • Support estimating department with improvement initiatives, mentoring of junior estimators.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience in Estimating of Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC projects.
  •  Experience leading large projects.
  •  Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline (Engineering preferred).
  • Ability to comply with, promote and provide leadership in HSE policy and OneWay™ framework.
  •  Advanced user of Microsoft Office Applications, Working knowledge of Estimating Software such as Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (KBase) or Cleopatra Enterprise is an asset.
  •  Motivational and collaborative communication skills.
  •  Control team budget on projects.

As the Environment Approvals Advisor, you will lead the preparation of the 5 yearly revisions of the FLNG Environment Plan. You are expected to manage all aspects of the Environment Plan revision and will have multiple internal and external stakeholder interfaces.
